S'TOONS 'N STUFF FARM SASKATOON SAUCE
2 s. G* s7 F+ ?2 _+ s( l- @8 ~
, U+ s+ R" j0 v4 v! \7 m9 I3 cups saskatoons 750 ml
3 w$ b6 J# c7 x5 Y3 { n1 cup water 250 ml # w1 d% N5 T% t: I5 J
2 Tbsp. corn starch 30 ml
) h$ e# F2 Q4 h1/2 cup sugar 125 ml
) W7 \: R: g% m F9 a! d& Cjuice of 1 lemon* 1 7 N9 w3 _9 |! Y1 D4 C+ F
$ e/ w( A+ O" q+ vPlace saskatoons in saucepan with water and bring to boil. Simmer 5 minutes, slightly crush berries with a potato masher. Blend cornstarch and sugar, add slowly to saskatoons, and boil until thick and clear. Add lemon juice and cool.; x6 ~. h4 l; h4 G
