院子里的浆果熟了,劳工说这是nanjing cherry, 没听说过,我就找了一个saskatoon的果酱方子。做出来很像山楂糕的味道,但是酸甜更可口,可抱着瓶子大吃,与有心人分享; \& R; w# e3 t

S'TOONS 'N STUFF FARM SASKATOON SAUCE x% J8 `* n: {, a% A
% | `4 C8 Z3 W) c/ w# ^& A3 cups saskatoons 750 ml
* k M" l" W$ b) n" w$ Q- [- u1 cup water 250 ml
+ X2 Y0 Y' B0 s$ p: P2 Tbsp. corn starch 30 ml ' h8 f/ O, @ h' v3 b
1/2 cup sugar 125 ml
9 f) {+ E& O( o: a0 Vjuice of 1 lemon* 1
Y( u5 s* s' \: f% k8 Y4 ?: B! j# n# e+ }( }' Q! a! U4 h M) j
Place saskatoons in saucepan with water and bring to boil. Simmer 5 minutes, slightly crush berries with a potato masher. Blend cornstarch and sugar, add slowly to saskatoons, and boil until thick and clear. Add lemon juice and cool.

Slice a pound cake or Orange Loaf** (, spoon sauce over two slices, top with Cool Whip and another dollop of sauce. Yum!

*Grate the rind from the lemon and store in freezer for making “S’toons ‘n Stuff Muffins”.
