It is important that students regularly consult the University's H1N1

available, including signs and symptoms of influenza and what you should

influenza virus is contagious and is spread person to person via close$ R7 U% j! R7 Y! f: a
contact. The virus also rests on hard surfaces such as counters and) l8 \8 ^: s! V* w: G6 p
doorknobs and can spread when people touch contaminated surfaces and1 v- Y. i' x0 Y& [7 P( D2 F
then unknowingly transfer the virus to their eyes, nose or mouth.
' U8 q) [5 q l; M/ aPracticing good preventive hygiene (e.g., wash your hands and cover your7 i: a* s* e" q9 d9 e3 S4 m' G' H7 T
cough) and following the self-care practices as outlined by Alberta
A" [8 s9 [/ ?% \2 |Health and Wellness will greatly assist in minimizing the chance of
