be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was

As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English% k5 e0 ?0 G6 v. [% T& l' G4 I) _
spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5 year phase-in4 Z. O$ Y1 u! O' B$ y1 Y
plan that would become known as "EuroEnglish".
