The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will

the other possibility.

As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English

plan that would become known as "EuroEnglish".

In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make
the sivil servants jump with joy.

+ d4 h0 s7 [, d6 G) f- G$ FThe hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up
; l, N( u4 }. p5 }" X# D, W& X) gkonfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.

0 S$ m8 i0 B9 y; J5 T; [$ u5 ZThere will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the
troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f". This will make words like

reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.
