Job Duties / Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
( f7 M" i0 p5 p; b5 w1 ^0 Y• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
2 m4 R0 u5 B7 ~. v: ~) B' }• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams
• Autocad and Microstation drafting
• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
. N1 F" Z$ A1 b4 q1 C4 L7 ?9 p  z5 t• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

Education / Experience
& W  H9 i6 c8 |3 B• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
' T6 m! w) v; h9 u5 e! V• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
; |1 G8 n! n$ i6 B2 X; I• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
3 a% x1 d4 D5 J$ h• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
9 z, X% r: W* D% E+ y! c• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
