This role is responsible for the following activities representing site:
5 H! Q) o6 m. A9 Q9 A5 ^. @7 v• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support$ O) e2 T; V/ `0 j9 e4 }
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel0 Q0 S' J8 p& T4 a( i& y, w* U9 O
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts' Y" F! \+ y* N1 a$ h" v8 d
• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments3 n9 t% K. U: Y. w* F
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams! E# ^. b- v% b5 {) E5 J! }8 p
• Autocad and Microstation drafting" S" T/ Z, d8 u1 }
• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables4 X9 J, ?" s) `1 H2 @9 p3 A8 A% c( I
• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator% `1 k; b! r+ ?% a2 K( A4 [0 ?
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

Education / Experience
0 ]- p5 L5 V+ A• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI1 F8 c3 ^2 P9 n0 ~) C' L
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator! l" ]) H ^7 }# y. z; l) ~
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
! a5 ^: V8 D% U2 Z& I• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
! q) `2 ]+ U( ?' \# k5 ?" F% I% g b# U• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
' p- w* {' Q' k" D• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset. |
