This program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

Start date: November 2, 2009 End date: March 31, 2010.
Programs run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm

You must be/have:
( h% H0 Q/ n. `! W" O• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
4 N  J$ B8 G4 r" H+ x* k• Unemployed or underemployed
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Good moral character
• Good health and physical condition
5 M, J  D- g- Q! X5 q3 j: N• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
8 j1 j3 w( Z  y. n# D; y• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
8 K( r3 v3 j# n( i• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
$ A/ l/ D6 ]8 ]6 _• Eligible for financial assistance, or willing to pay tuition
• Citizenship documents: Permanent Resident Card or recent Canadian
