The Business Link’s toll-free business information line, web-based services, innovative uses of video conferencing technologies, and walk-in centers in Edmonton and Calgary ensure clients throughout Alberta have access to our many resources.0 L* j8 N4 f  c7 n7 ^

We are currently looking for a Client Services Representative to assist us with welcoming clients to our centre, recommending services based on their inquiry, coordinating office maintenance, administrative duties, and data entry.

4 y2 ]0 m" v) nPosition Summary
; z4 }% J( G( r9 K% a6 R  g+ @6 W- _3 v$ g- z1 t: j' {. u- v" I# q+ p5 Y. D
•        Providing exceptional client service to walk-in and phone clients of The Business Link and tenant organizations
& z# z, P! z% U$ r% B, |•        Keeping calendar of events up to date including arrangement and acceptance of new bookings and successful completion of scheduled meetings & f" H8 S( T& i7 b7 J
•        Working closely with the Business Marketing Officer to ensure that the front desk displays are in compliance with TBL’s marketing approach
! b3 }8 V8 L5 W+ i, {•        Promoting TBL products and services # a0 f) ?3 L2 C8 b  p
•        Accurately processing sales and performing daily cash balance
& C0 m2 S( H9 g! z•        Providing appropriate paperwork to account payables and receivables : B. p, k- V& R% e
•        Taking part in team and individual projects that will contribute to efficient provision of TBL’s services across Alberta % Y0 K3 N; P3 v9 D4 {( F
•        Keeping accurate tracking of client interactions – data entry
1 m7 s$ R! w7 F6 W•        Assisting with administration of the Guest Advisor Program ( F5 t6 k- S6 o( [7 ~( m% g
•        Arranging catering for various meetings 9 R) o, w& i8 b; k
•        Opening and closing of The Business Link Office - M- Z4 h+ U0 n4 O* h1 F* _+ `( U
•        Ensuring that the front desk and boardrooms are clean, tidy, and stocked with supplies at all times
& ~& t3 U9 ^$ O8 E5 B" T$ j! b* r•        Other duties as assigned.   ^% {; C2 d( b

Education and Experience
3 q* O% M) ]2 B7 I; y/ p
0 t; N- y( c( ]& ^7 J•        Minimum 2 years of Customer service experience
' n6 _( e6 j. Q: m6 F# d•        Administrative experience including reception, cash register, and scheduling
2 z- B! ]6 ?  n8 j) b0 U  k•        College Certificate or Diploma in related field.7 m. b; s4 E- X2 b: Y
) z7 C8 H5 t) U3 q
Skills
& s' h6 o5 N- H; w$ N$ K2 t/ W; c( \! M9 k4 m
        Strong work ethic
8 N! H) n' V; A. ?1 m        Professional, diplomatic and  self-starter
# a$ c& u8 A  X( d) j        Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
& v% H, \2 ^- A( F+ d, i7 Y        Problem solving skills to define problems and recommend practical solutions
' B( K# g% n+ _. u        Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships at all levels of the organization
