Police arrest two men after complaint of smelly truck carrying 1,500 pot plants

EDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants. }" |0 k1 |& J. F/ T9 a/ J

Police say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.) v9 D, g9 a, l/ E

Officers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.

9 v" [* ]" K5 W) O( M% FRoughly 400 kilograms of pot was taken from the vehicle and the driver and a passenger were arrested without incident.
