% _; B4 ]" c; J/ A& nEDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.

Police say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.' M; R+ S4 o7 q: P
: C1 u& b+ \0 hOfficers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.

Police say there were up to 1,500 mature marijuana plants tied in bundles inside the van.% x( _7 j# c4 e& Q% ?" d. |

Roughly 400 kilograms of pot was taken from the vehicle and the driver and a passenger were arrested without incident.
