Police arrest two men after complaint of smelly truck carrying 1,500 pot plants

EDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants. S% a3 Y( l/ z W( j$ d
) P& `3 k* u0 ~: v4 ^2 oPolice say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.. d+ r" }/ H4 L' J) h G& K

Officers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.

Police say there were up to 1,500 mature marijuana plants tied in bundles inside the van.
