There is no National Park in Windsor, Ont.
$ g* Q+ T& s* d9 w1 P, Y' ? QPoint Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.. J0 r$ ?6 Y8 e2 s4 ]. V" f! O" {
It is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.! |% [; y# v7 ~" O1 \& k% A

The National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).& S8 `- b3 w- y' |6 w. L
Great hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.7 i' X1 z' L8 s% ^* d
The ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.
