There is no National Park in Windsor, Ont.
6 L1 v9 t" J1 q ]Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.
" T% h+ n, m% z" z$ nIt is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.# \6 u8 _( j6 _/ s+ d

, y1 }4 A' B/ R/ i) cThe National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).
% V5 n4 @% c1 N1 i8 q* B" X6 kGreat hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.5 x# L, H5 g' ~4 q z0 ?
The ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.* a3 U1 J& z Y( I8 ?5 r

There are also two Provincial Parks within an hours drive- Wheatley Provincial Park(closest), and Rondeau (farther to the west) if you wish to camp. |
