Drill Bit Repair Technician

Temporary to permanent position
International oil & gas company

% P! c7 W0 u7 R: s. S5 R$ ]6 d1 UAs a Drill Bit Repair Technician your duties would include:
+ s3 X4 p/ V7 @& I, I# S*Setting up and operating machines and tools for drill bit repair
0 r3 i- W, j, |/ V6 p) Q) ?9 U# H& X" J" J*Read and interrupt blueprints to build and repair according to product specifications
5 }6 E; }- I% c# w0 ^3 O+ S5 Y*Cleaning, quality inspecting, painting, pricing and shipping drill bits
*Practicing total quality management and safety processes
2 l2 ^0 a  m# r; q9 T. W*Driving 3/4 tonne truck for hot-shot deliveries (minimal aspect of position)

Requirements:
*Minimum Grade 12 or G.E.D. equivalent
*Reliable vehicle is required
1 [  H! K! b; l* s0 l*PC literate in Windows 95/98 and Microsoft Office 97
*Proven team player with a positive attitude
# n! l; B# g6 J( x3 U1 c*Motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
*Machining and welding experience an asset
, b7 C- J7 s2 W$ b! t, V*Knowledge of drilling operations an asset
*H2S and First Aid certification an asset
