* Performs isotopic analyses on a broad spectrum of chemical elements, including Pb, Os, Nd, Sr
+ k3 d% R4 O5 |+ j% i * Completes routine maintenance on the TIMS and auxiliary equipment, such as vacuum pumps& y7 d0 D7 z: H$ E7 t( s
* Performs data compilation, analysis and data reduction calculations; I! | M4 |1 u5 r* k/ n
* Trains users on the mass spectrometer and reduction calculations9 R, O j" ]% c2 ^0 Z a

6 Z; k% e4 H' {. i6 R3 w8 N * Technical diploma in Physical Sciences, preferably Geological Sciences or equivalent; BSc in Geology or Chemistry is preferred6 W% J& b; q, u( _! a* Z1 X
* Specialized training on thermal ionization mass spectrometers, geochemical analyses, and instrumentation: t$ `5 _2 m1 y! D( l/ u
* Experience in an established research laboratory with demonstrated knowledge of lab safety regulations and procedures including general lab hygiene and specific safety protocols for thermal ionization mass spectrometers

* Computer competency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and programming experience would be an asset" |) }+ A% h w4 Y
