Part of Children's Hospital shut down after H1N1 outbreak in Calgary

Part of the Alberta Children's Hospital is closed because of an outbreak of the H1N1 virus.

5 V6 L2 g9 ~- F0 G. @+ RHealth authorities confirm there is a cluster of flu cases at the hospital. They now confirm there are three cases, one staff member and two children.The closed area is Unit 3 on the third floor. This unit treats children with kidney and neurological problems.

Only parents and guardians are allowed in. The doors are locked so nobody else walks into the area.

Alberta continues to record new cases of the H1N1 virus. There have now been over 1100 cases in Alberta and two deaths.
