Receptionist

2 p. L0 h! {- ]* ^# GThe YWCA is recruiting a Receptionist. The Front Desk is the central point for internal and external communications for all departments, programs and events. A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors6 U$ V+ q2 y. P" a4 k% O6 r
• Answer multi line telephone system; ^1 @+ \+ M+ g/ ]* l
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries/ H5 W" g3 a( e
• Arrange courier services for all departments
1 W& n9 o- T% d- E) y, B8 E• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers# r' l8 A* I" W4 t4 f

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail

• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency

• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
, ^' b: O D1 D" \5 A! [• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.5 I# H, q$ I* f& ~' ~) N
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
