A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. Reception

• Answer multi line telephone system. u" N3 z% F+ n: B+ g
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries& ^# v$ C, a* G l
• Arrange courier services for all departments
+ c: P, R. H4 i! B0 f# U( s• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers, T3 S# t2 d& c$ ~: c. @+ ~
& O# m" r/ d y/ \7 FAdministration
) x3 \& U7 K, q* f# O: E• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail. f f ^; M4 X% B5 B
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
- s, F2 X j6 A, A$ l1 g& Q• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
T: `" y( i' E2 X" r8 g• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration, h4 s& w. } t/ ]% \
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers 3 l M- A& @+ p- t8 R
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution
[" k( c; B, ~, @$ r" m5 P• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments ; \4 A- H; p0 e3 t( Q
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
: x: S: \8 T1 Q• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint./ d/ W% ~8 ?0 a
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
