Responsible for the following key functions:
+ x5 v. R3 a. x1 |; rPerforming product upgrade activities in the Production environment
Participating in data migration and conversion initiatives
# G1 H: z, L8 y$ y, Y$ NPerforming changes to software configurations as requested by the customer
Performing  the analysis, design, development and review of production  scripts (datafixes, queries; ad hoc and production batch jobs - extract and update)

2 [6 ~: F  A4 _. \  g3 RParticipating in the development and documentation of standards and procedures for work performed by the Application Support team
: v+ o, o0 ^: x4 E* @Maintaining information required to support products after implementation (e.g., changes to customer contact information, changes to authorized approvers, etc.)
Providing technical and work management of 1 – 2 analysts on small projects
, Z% W+ w" A0 D& {Providing application and environment training to other SSD Operations employees, primarily other Application Support Analysts and Customer Support Specialists
! }8 t+ X, Q% \& c9 Q6 hDeveloping tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Application Support team.
- g( a" C" T1 R0 g: pWork directly with clients, both internal and external to SSD.

Qualifications:
/ c) b/ o1 |) y! wGeneral:
Diploma or certificate in the Computer Systems field plus 4 or more years of practical experience in application support and/or software development
Experience using standard development and/or enhancement methodologies
' p; b$ m( w( R) L; m: Z  C4 EDetail-oriented, strong analytical ability, exceptional trouble-shooting skills
8 S5 s; o' s0 y9 i$ p+ ?2 x2 hStrong organizational skills; must be able to juggle a number of complex tasks at once
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal as incumbent will be gathering requirements and presenting solutions to clients, both internal and external to SSD.

+ y* p- D8 N, U% L6 v& F* R, ~Required:
Experience supporting applications in a UNIX/ORACLE environment
Demonstrated experience with UNIX shell scripting and SQL/PL-SQL
Experience implementing, maintaining and supporting automated (cron) jobs in a UNIX environment
5 ]) {' @- j/ C/ i+ EStrong SQL skills

Experience supporting applications that use:
