Position: Facility & Program Manager / Location: Edmonton / Terms: 15 hours a week, part fixed hours and part flex time. Some evening or weekend work may be required / Salary: up to $20/hour depending on qualifications / Closing Date: June 12, 2009.

We're seeking a highly-motivated, enthusiastic & reliable team player who, working under the direction of the Board of Directors, will oversee community programming & assist with the operation of the community centre.

& [# p9 l& H2 M+ j& f L+ F: UResponsibilities: oversee programming; facility requirements, advertising, registration and instructor contracts; assist with rentals: advertising, bookings, contracts, inspections and customer service; assist with the development and implementation of a marketing plan related to facility operation; direct staff and volunteers in regards to programs & facility operation.& @ l+ B. f3 `. T' Y z6 `, R

PLUS: write reports/recommend policy around facility operation to the board; develop resources & resource material in the area of community programming & facility operation; plan/implement leisure needs assessment, trends research & public consultation, then recommend strategies to provide enhanced customer service. 3 e, A& x' x- \$ |' [: t8 ^

Requirements: A post-secondary diploma/degree is preferred. Experience in programming and administration is essential. You have proven analytical and problem solving skills. You must be innovative, creative/work well on your own. 5 X7 x0 _5 \6 z! P, x! l) D; _
0 V0 i1 S B0 n( g& \1 [In addition: you have a strong customer service orientation, demonstrated excellence in interpersonal, collaborative/communication skills, and the ability to work positively-effectively in a team environment. You are computer literate & knowledgeable in the use of MS Office programs and internet applications.
