Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
8 _0 T- G; }# R1 m. P# n- Organize focus group(s)
! r: W4 A( n7 m- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
3 u) _6 @$ o2 _' j3 o0 n- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
8 F! M9 b4 ^7 H" J. w- Prepare final report for funding agency

* [% D+ M; o" d4 ?6 j2 EQualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- y/ o  o* P& E" o: R- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
1 `+ V- I) @" W) j4 D, E; z- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
* D  K- L8 `5 F3 C8 y- leadership abilities
' i, y9 F4 o7 W( a! L- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
