Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports

- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)

Qualifications:

- o% O3 K+ I/ Y! B# w8 B1 p) D- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
8 d* U7 T! t! Q+ x. k- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
5 U7 @/ _1 }% x5 }  q! T* L- \- y+ K- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
/ u* R; R. e: h7 ^6 c! n% R- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Other

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
