Position Overview This Corporation is a multidiscipline engineering, geomatics and planning consulting firm with offices in major centers throughout Western Canada. We are currently seeking a Transportation Engineer – Intermediate to Senior to join our Calgary team.
n1 R: R6 g) }. w9 Z9 i8 QResponsibilities In this position, you will:
# I2 J4 P& n$ ]$ ?5 J B1 }• Plan and design major road and highway projects;
7 U; `" ~# q& [7 H$ d" D d• Ensure that you provide exceptional service to clients with roadway functional, preliminary and detailed design services as part of a team;) O5 x' [/ W( S% Y5 M
• Prepare roadway designs including: plans; reports; cost estimates; and specifications. 2 o% n; B+ A( s9 E4 }/ f5 ~
• Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for projects; " v: U, j4 [5 l# f7 D% m
• Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates. |
