Has the following summer position available: June 1 – August 16, 2005 (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
1 q! X/ t, k2 e2 Y6 y To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
! A- m0 u. q1 Y: _) e To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
' x& c' m9 D' w$ W! }8 g To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
/ s/ ?" \/ M$ M/ R8 h8 p' e To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

  V) {& X  O7 L. ]! ?Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
: _' B$ b/ T+ X 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
6 Y  F- y5 l5 i& x% @( G Current CPR and First Aid certifications
7 t: A3 K2 d9 g/ B% V Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
