The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.; b( h7 l8 l0 Y6 Y
4 X6 `- s* {; |This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.5 c# Y3 @% [- ?# \

• Human Resources Management
. n" z5 W# @' A8 k) ], A, F• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities ' v/ ]; t6 K# g( W2 |; x( q
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors ) x- u l/ |3 i) h' x
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
: ]- h* }; Z9 Y' \: l' U• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
, y9 h% \5 M6 r% L% l9 ]• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities {4 p3 W9 l, `4 _1 d
; [7 q/ P/ w0 h0 h& {Program Delivery. r( @9 H* k& v0 h5 S+ b. X3 i
• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program ! O- G+ Y( S, V3 E, [% ~4 P+ v
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes; @- b$ ^$ I$ f7 H8 j% g
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required* W0 h: d; `0 q: x) E
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
5 o/ u/ s5 u1 b% ?• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
8 H+ x6 h: {% K7 l L* H" Q7 O• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department1 X+ H# K- W) I' ?- N3 w
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
; b: u3 T- p" Q( B# }; O• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review

Qualifications:
2 ]: G. J+ s4 i J8 }
( b5 o3 h2 H, e2 P• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
7 J; G$ h; @$ S0 r7 s$ P% w7 m3 d• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities6 ~) W2 n. f0 y1 `
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
4 P) w" b& V3 a% X( T( b& K. A% n• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations3 z" C: f i4 N5 \+ A) H, K
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
