The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

- l! V5 T0 y% j4 HThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.+ k& y F! `0 W9 d- N9 b
( E* U- O' W& A, FJob Duties/Responsibilities:6 ]6 w$ ]7 R4 v& ] g* H6 e. w7 g
• Human Resources Management% y; l9 R5 d# u+ Q6 c
• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities ' O& ]* m+ t# {4 V# G. _3 I
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
7 `6 k" M0 V* C• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities8 F/ I2 S! Y! m1 N3 P" s& g; y
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
- I3 X+ [% m& n9 k, A# Q) u• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

Program Delivery4 }* U6 L, A% ~! r7 B$ r
• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program - S5 g1 U, L6 |% ^
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes) e9 w, U3 G9 l/ s; z# x: F1 X
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required* z+ I, [* o' u( {0 `0 {; ~
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication& \2 E @7 z9 P+ t. E$ j+ [* R
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested! Y# D; }% _# Y9 R' c- n" N% \0 B
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
' z( f u: X6 h- ] K p4 X. R• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program( S# C. s- r2 e. f& U
• Implement service modification, as required

Administration
$ ^. U7 z8 O2 Z( n% A* ?• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
7 V5 ?: I( m+ l• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review
6 G# c6 y& ^% j, i• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required. p4 m X* I0 J- Z
# K( [; B. @, Z6 l1 _2 B2 Q5 i% SQualifications:; R7 B+ \0 J. Y) S# S% a

• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field' f$ M' ?% b# H
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities, k& d' {& M ]3 v( V- d
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
6 Z3 c' Q. l% e1 c% G• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations% j/ A6 n5 N) Z- k4 C% |
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
1 F- i4 C% z- Y; X• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
