The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.$ }/ K6 z1 Q& | L( S6 H
7 P+ l0 e; Y" G$ i' ?This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.# f- W4 ] U0 D3 a- S; X$ Q

$ ?2 p, Z+ N. U, y4 _• Human Resources Management
& m! {3 u& ^8 \" k1 M• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
n9 X/ N! B* s% v ]$ n" w• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors 7 y. ^$ D3 g) |& i7 P+ }8 M
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
. Q: ]+ S! S' ~9 i+ J• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services/ P" _, Z) s7 f. q: H3 D
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

Program Delivery: Y4 k \% `/ V |
• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program ) b0 F2 Y8 g# |1 [& c8 a; u) ^
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
) {6 R' ?, K u. y' n/ a( v• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
9 w4 Z3 i3 y2 K6 Z$ R! ^• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication) t9 m V8 E) j$ H5 ?5 V, E# P
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested$ o# S$ c% |2 f
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department, L' ?& @7 ?% w$ p: N
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program- ^8 ]% H+ h* v6 H) _: k2 X! `
• Implement service modification, as required$ g3 N% i# X6 D' c

7 o1 J9 z( r* P, h# u! P% x9 B& U• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
9 l/ ^& s( |' L& ]! W2 s• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review

• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field1 K: D% p' S! d$ y$ }
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities% g5 I `, {6 q
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience4 K' z: S0 C3 b' z) |% I) p
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
