3 f. S1 y9 Y- aFAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
" l, I$ K7 z* t* D3 V# Mresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
: l4 j/ z9 {/ c. N0 ~screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
- e$ c! ^$ v9 w4 F, |. rFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
& V4 |! k$ B3 v vwell as the script, magazine and book library. $ d% @" e' {6 M/ z" N+ D

Duties: ) v5 I( Y1 B2 D* e4 [5 [
- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library % ?+ {6 Q1 q- W9 W! r
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
: ]' J0 R6 D( ~6 o' T- Implement a catalogue template for future use 2 A/ t: n$ s' H g
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
6 k L3 t7 H: i% _4 l( t- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable Z1 {6 @( `. k# @" O

secondary training, university preferred

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

- Strong organizational skills 3 s4 S6 A, e5 |& b" m3 E
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred b* {; D4 I- w9 H, |
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
