FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the & P7 g/ M) A* |# ^: \6 N4 b

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
) [1 {* O# v+ OFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
/ v7 p0 z, L9 g# y/ uwell as the script, magazine and book library. 7 Z/ ^% @( ` P% V4 p0 H

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
1 Q+ f) g! G$ w- |6 y( I" v1 [" x8 l- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
* ?- g! _5 J8 F5 D' p, u+ Z0 g- Implement a catalogue template for future use
% L( [3 p2 N" i0 G; y3 a) P- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
7 i) `$ {9 J- {# X4 I- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable 7 k5 V8 Z$ A+ ^* U1 V4 ]

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week 1 t& n5 e* o3 \- d/ X6 K: n
- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

- Strong organizational skills ' V4 O$ q( ]8 X7 I% H7 k( S! Z
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred $ H( h; {4 r( O2 X9 q8 a/ c
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal

- Interest in working for an arts organization that is governed by a Board of Directors
