b# E; ]9 W$ G8 l* J4 { Land media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
! @" k3 \4 y' l' ]+ ?5 q( lresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and ( B# j4 g# _7 Q3 M
screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern . ~% @. c; v. l

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
3 `* C/ K6 r/ I9 }- b4 CFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as - u( |. L2 ?1 C0 g+ a0 J5 W7 S
well as the script, magazine and book library. % J0 o/ A4 V' L) |! d

. {; h; i; l' H6 T- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
! @& \4 j' I: @ E( L# P- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
+ ?- J, I5 f6 W# _" I- Implement a catalogue template for future use % W' Q0 W4 r: q8 ~) {. X
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 2 G* ?6 i/ o4 V$ Z5 e# o2 V- G
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred " V/ F( P- Z' ]4 u2 j, ?8 F
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal 4 ^& Y6 A- S( n+ f9 _( @
- Strong team player abilities
