support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from ! {. ?$ t4 s0 k8 U$ ?; R9 l
emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video & o; X" @' \$ d1 a
and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a . u# N9 K5 J$ `7 d
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
+ C; y& w/ K( i+ rscreenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 6 a- E' L3 I0 x( ?* J' K7 j: I# f, A* j
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
( k& S& U2 ]0 _& V+ |0 nwell as the script, magazine and book library. * u0 n/ y0 R1 R" ?, `9 a# c2 z
0 B+ z- m/ P; v+ B* ?$ U6 dDuties:
/ K* b7 y' l1 }, U- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
$ f5 l t4 i+ D$ o, i6 N& P% j6 A- c6 h- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
1 w& R% H% I1 s" ]( t- \- Implement a catalogue template for future use * Z$ ^* q) }2 h" H9 h& `7 ^
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
4 ?4 @1 w- k; X+ y: M8 p- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable + G, l0 e- ?1 B- z) `) r$ @

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts

- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal , b' G# ~( \2 M, w
- Strong team player abilities
