CSSA Spring Trip to Jasper on May 21, 22, and 23.

CSSA will organize a Spring Trip to Jasper from May 21 to 23, 2005.
/ A  `! {# s' q3 L. _  ]+ mActivities include sight viewing, canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge, and

spring at Miette Hot Springs.
We will go to Jasper by mini-van rented by CSSA and driven by CSSA
% N! k  c- F0 s/ d& jVolunteers.
We'll stay there for two nights. Accommodations are arranged by CSSA.

-        Canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge.($35 per canoe per hour and $25 per

-        Sight Viewing in Japer: We'll go Maligne Lake first thing in the

$35 per adult and $17.5 per child(6-12years old)). If you haven't done

before, I strongly recommend you to do so.
-        Stays the night in Jasper and no activities in day 2's evening so

could visit the town by yourself, or go to the bar and have a drink or
so.

Day Three
; S. p7 U/ a# h' D-        Sight-viewing in Jasper continues.
-        Ride home in the early afternoon since we need to return the rented
van on
time.

-        Travel needs.

& j7 Z' l4 Y0 m-       Sun glasses and sun screen to protect your eyes and skin.
-       Camera. It's beautiful in the mountain in the spring.
-       Bring some warm clothes since it's still cool in the mountain
! }6 o+ K$ m& K8 X( \$ ^/ |in the
late May. And we also will go to the Columbia Ice Field so warm clothes

! r5 C$ v" c3 U3 p' Vshoes are definitely needed.

drving.(But you won't need to worry about the driving).

Feel free to bring your own food. (Like instant noodles.) (There is an
IGA in
Jasper, so you could always buy food there if you need.)
