请教移民十年路与恭喜发财：

1。如果考工程师考试，国内的工作的经历（包括在500强中跨国公司的经历）是否可以作为工作经历符合参加考试的条件？
2。怎么联系考试？哪里可以获得相关复习资料？
3。还有，根据你们经验，需要准备多久能参加考试，自学是否可以？自学要多久？

The academic qualification for Professional Engineer is not only just one exam of law & ethics. First, you have to hold a BSc degree in "engineering" Second, you must have at least 4 years real engineering experience which includes at least one year experience in Canada. So you need to find a real engineering job before you can apply.

You may be requested to pass 1-9 academic tests to comfirm your ability and a Law & Ethics national exam.

Please check website of APEGGA, you will need to buy all materials from them for exams.

3。还有，根据你们经验，需要准备多久能参加考试，自学是否可以？自学要多久？

For law exam, you may need 4-6 months,自学可以.

This seems to me conflicting because many engieer jobs ask for licence, while licence asks for Canadian experience (job). These two thing ask for each other, it is a cycle, wield, isn't it? Is it possible to find an engineer job without licence? If job is first, then I will try job first. Thanks for your very helpful answers.

Actually, you can apply EIT (engineer in training) without local experience. A lot good positions for EIT.

(with EIT, you can use "Engineer (EIT)" as your title legally.)

I know three friends found first engineer job in canada by refering their china experience then applied for it. Maybe I am assuming it is possible to work as P.E without licence.

you confused P.Eng and licence. P.Eng is a kind of licence to practice engineering, without P.Eng, you still can find a job in engineering, but you cannot stamp the work and must be supervised by a person with P.Eng.

十年移民路说的很对,我认识的许多人也都是直接找到工程师的工作的.其实我认为最好的方法还是找到工程师的工作之后在申请P.Eng
