& @8 k* t/ n8 g/ `8 h$ s- Organize focus group(s)
/ U& o  s, h, U3 ^. D5 X- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
, X4 D8 M6 A, T/ q- Provide orientation for parents
" a1 _0 \. M8 P8 t$ z+ q- Find sponsors to enhance program
0 u6 N  z: B# x& x' W) ]$ `5 i- Supervise volunteer(s)
' ^! h5 P* b9 h( P& z- Prepare final report for funding agency
/ w) s, \4 \( y3 i# I% S
7 P- k0 N+ R. Q" I' B5 fQualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
, @7 `+ z+ q7 j& I: ?/ d/ R- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
7 O% t$ v  F  u, a  w" [+ Z4 s- communication skills
; j* L* {( v9 t8 S- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Other

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

) o" T7 f8 O3 q- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
