Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
9 J* n" J+ N3 u$ [* p  [- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
$ I+ H+ J# l+ A: Y3 D  q' E& x+ K- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

' G& ]: r4 O$ jQualifications:
4 u& z2 s' y! i) @  L9 K7 {- C
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
& ~3 L/ w  t# E- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
+ z( {5 e% q$ n9 ?# f- w8 U4 B- communication skills
# N6 W& l  s* {* g& ]8 N; a- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

8 s* Z) G& j" ?5 n2 J; J) v- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Salary
$ v5 c& m3 f8 M. S! A; b+ k
: U6 c  p4 ?  k8 Z- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
