2 c6 R" v5 \1 }/ kResponsibilities:
5 C9 f# K$ B( e- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
, H" z8 a- r$ i; o& J" k! q- Provide orientation for parents
0 L, O! s# f7 u$ j( X' b3 a- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
  y# k1 h/ C4 b5 u
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
# E$ o- t! P# S9 a( H) z- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
# R& l3 K6 i0 i$ I8 q- T6 K4 U- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
1 e  d7 o1 e! t/ j- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Other

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
