Job Description

provide services for Chinese community
0 O t8 x S/ P- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
0 ^* u& ^8 F' F' _2 m, } access to mainstream services+ ?. {; S6 S8 U5 \
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of 3 Q# Z- g" W/ S4 W
social services
* @9 G5 x$ n8 x& g7 ?9 v- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies' L+ m3 q. g8 L3 E
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications8 v9 E+ y8 N. ^. h
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of # ^2 t) |5 v9 B \
experience and education
7 S8 i2 h* l( ^& Z- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
5 ^, _- O% W4 ~4 L. z1 G- experience in community work and immigrant services
' G* G: c. I* W6 m2 |( F! U- experience in website update/design+ ?4 F/ u4 C7 Y, W+ E. S
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
- D; y* B# d. ~9 C
