Position title: Community Development Worker

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
1 F1 x4 C8 D" P5 n1 b2 t access to mainstream services: H* {: r9 }$ N+ O* v+ c
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
( o# T ?- F! v3 V0 r4 F social services
! B. W- j; q- }: p( b- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
+ p- A! C* ]/ f& b7 P% C2 R- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members3 o9 J2 q: B- ~) X1 V2 M
- update ASSIST website7 I& c1 G9 I; |
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of 0 E. @5 W; u; Y L1 h$ F1 a5 w
experience and education
( O& c3 x9 _! Y* z- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
, l Q& {. V3 f$ g) _( U- experience in community work and immigrant services
! v l5 b6 B, O* A5 X- experience in website update/design
