Job Description

provide services for Chinese community
3 H% \2 {$ A+ ]# b0 ?7 I7 N7 U! d- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population

) }9 g* a* H4 g+ v, K, B- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of

, U. ~* A6 p% D- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies. q) T; o- K ^/ {# q6 A- N% d7 J8 S' m
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members5 L% K, k6 x3 }6 O
- update ASSIST website
% L# r4 Y" Q9 O- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre* L2 `$ D2 ~( Q2 ^6 I! ^8 y
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
7 h+ ?! p/ x( L- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time+ w5 Q! a7 |* v

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

Qualifications
2 ~1 c1 {+ s- a9 \* k9 R- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
2 h7 P, o) U8 W. k experience and education
2 _, g) H5 G+ u) l% u( o& }- good oral and written Chinese and English skills2 T2 u) ]4 v. E: I, Z, R
- experience in community work and immigrant services
3 W. N7 c+ }1 o0 _& x+ n1 a6 Q- experience in website update/design4 Y h/ [# d, P- j' L
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
