Job Description
& O3 \% {! ^5 F; g- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to - N; m5 z+ C7 O4 H- d7 U) Z
provide services for Chinese community2 t% J8 r# i: D6 ~: m8 L
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population 7 e5 w9 ?1 j* v, y& M0 Q( z$ w! F
access to mainstream services
) h. g$ s, a8 ^) S' N- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of / _ |. {8 a3 E- n8 D0 i" m6 O
social services
9 I& {+ e% i, N! \ |$ a- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
* s9 `5 J. w: e1 u& M- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
2 c& N( v9 A, p# m% p- update ASSIST website# o( ?- \% W) J |
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
6 k6 y/ A6 @/ O& o- F7 i" ?0 p# A1 \- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

Qualifications
$ X* e+ U# ?4 L+ V- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
1 {+ f9 D! S2 x2 n% d experience and education
% G" `5 C0 m6 t+ Z( e% |) E- good oral and written Chinese and English skills* Q# I- n$ j ]
- experience in community work and immigrant services `+ p& d; I( p1 r0 Z. s; ~
- experience in website update/design9 |2 G& X; L* j: Z, d
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset9 h5 H& H% |1 C
