Term: 1-year Contract for Maternity Leave (Full time: 35 hours per week)

provide services for Chinese community/ B/ s" p0 c. ~$ G* `
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
3 `6 k7 A; q0 ^# K6 N7 }1 V- I access to mainstream services, l& b! k9 k( Y' C. e
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of ) k2 G! X* t9 \0 q+ g
social services
! a [- @* {$ ]7 q5 O- y# Z- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
1 J+ q. a5 T: C/ N1 S* a- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services# b# x/ t7 r8 G5 i1 q7 S; I$ |7 L
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
C y! \2 G$ z3 n8 f experience and education ! z6 ]4 } Z: ^0 n
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
9 o) p6 C% Q7 s" Q" S! Y- ?- experience in community work and immigrant services
) P: [+ {; F6 s# n- experience in website update/design
1 }. s, K% g5 y6 J# e3 B8 h' w7 ?- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
