Job Description
: k) T$ g) x( P& \4 r+ S( b% u$ Y- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to * L s& R5 z: ], w9 V
provide services for Chinese community$ J* J" Y+ L- M$ V& T
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
3 D' I: Y0 L) o' q4 z access to mainstream services
0 o; Q. Y3 _& k& x i: e9 H- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
$ t0 }: A6 ?3 G social services
9 G9 |7 X3 ]9 T- h- ^- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies: s; B! ~8 _8 x7 o/ g3 t! F
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members' a3 F% r* W, U0 {6 M+ [! @8 |
- update ASSIST website
, J6 ^, B; g- g O d- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
3 c8 k% C: [! ~- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

Qualifications* t' s0 @: ?! B) K) S
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of / ?. W" A3 Y" B) _4 j
experience and education
6 T" p, g8 B% o) E/ x+ E2 c. o- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
1 p u& e: n6 `1 v" Q/ ]1 C- experience in community work and immigrant services
( A2 v. l9 Y1 ?' E$ `: |6 |' |- experience in website update/design
+ h1 E' ]. f; o8 t- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset$ C8 U6 _, M3 x, `; _
