Position title: Community Development Worker 9 v5 E: b0 X) ^* H* m1 g
Term: 1-year Contract for Maternity Leave (Full time: 35 hours per week)

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population ' _+ b9 d3 H1 j$ A+ G! r- F3 C" o6 ~
access to mainstream services! W% E0 E: x" P/ C
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
9 N3 N" G- T U! g2 q3 u5 G social services) O" @, z( T: Y, @
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies; Y" N9 m5 U( j: n9 Y
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of

5 W! G \1 D! Y0 W2 _5 ]6 v- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
1 l: u6 _7 _$ z9 w" k) U6 k- experience in community work and immigrant services8 @5 q5 R* \6 `* ^7 A( m
- experience in website update/design
; A- w; O/ V! E% n- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset! ?2 R; ^4 ]( |# T
