- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
- K) } w/ {" P0 A- H2 ^ provide services for Chinese community
0 K' Y4 y/ P3 K/ `7 K$ W- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
8 t5 R3 k, J: @. ?: _2 Z/ F0 f access to mainstream services9 o8 y- r) T3 U/ R8 ?
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of ( w: }9 j! \( v4 P ] u8 _1 ~
social services) F. Z+ t4 z5 l- A& O! P1 u' \8 ^
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
1 P. P6 j$ y$ i4 U- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
2 O( z0 l% c7 E6 ^' @- update ASSIST website
6 r) K9 y5 v# w# `/ g" N- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre9 J) ^& q- c( C: e
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

- update membership database

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of : e9 d4 ^' U6 g3 v' x
experience and education
& h1 O7 l5 k) G$ `* I$ h/ x- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
0 H b+ d# ]! p0 N& b- experience in community work and immigrant services1 d) s3 V6 C( l n% B \. N* Z
- experience in website update/design
: S( I t( ]4 | I+ z* B% l8 p- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
