Job Description

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population : \% z. y4 s% y! j& `1 n; X' i4 @& q
access to mainstream services1 N- E: g' a& _( ^2 F9 @
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
' w8 k8 r+ _4 k7 D2 k social services
1 w1 n( i+ \1 N% s0 z- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies6 T& X- |- `, d" U
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
0 D7 r; n" j c1 X# i' N, r- update ASSIST website
- P) f8 y9 X7 d7 {- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre7 N/ ^) N1 T; }# a, {: s5 P' l6 D
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
& F/ Z% p5 @; Q- s4 W( _- {; u! U- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of ! U9 n7 U! F% w6 |

- good oral and written Chinese and English skills: U4 u+ S" B ?9 L2 ]' P
- experience in community work and immigrant services
# r' [6 R" L4 p* Z% S' m- experience in website update/design
8 d' ?+ ]0 z) I: Z) w9 Q- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
