Job Description

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population & o! W5 [8 l/ F5 u! ^
access to mainstream services
5 F2 a+ I$ \+ \9 M6 w" ?" @- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
- R* T6 ?& a, f: b# ^! P$ R social services* ~: ?9 a1 n- a+ s0 p
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies9 P1 K" z/ O0 Z/ R: v; B, u
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members) ?2 X6 [* w; P, O0 `
- update ASSIST website1 _# c0 Y2 a Y/ X
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre- J1 j/ \4 v, J& B- |( Q' W+ S g
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services. e7 L( R" x4 p j" [

- update membership database

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of 3 A! g# y7 k D* f9 T& T
experience and education
, v5 o# b; T4 w7 y5 U7 {- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
) c% J* G& h- {) A3 y% E- experience in community work and immigrant services
9 W/ |. @6 C# Q0 y; q5 ] m, [- experience in website update/design
( I7 i* ]. a# f1 ~# A% z# R/ j T% ]- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
