Position title: Community Development Worker

provide services for Chinese community

access to mainstream services
' `) \: U$ l2 ]* a- o- ?- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of

- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies# r8 T7 _1 J8 @- c- @+ ]
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

Qualifications
2 z3 d0 C- _$ X& U- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of ! y8 ^! V2 q8 ^ Q4 Z& H$ u
experience and education . A0 s( ^0 I7 |4 \
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
1 |3 i5 U: v3 W1 c- } `- experience in community work and immigrant services' N- c6 i; K/ c
- experience in website update/design
1 H& {7 ?( D% H& V* I- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset b/ T S0 I# b; s8 |
