Position title: Community Development Worker

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
: W6 m. ~+ O9 Q' E! ]0 O4 U access to mainstream services
/ V0 }9 Y. X3 G- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
* T& b' V# l+ n social services
) R6 u1 ?3 l3 l- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies' C+ y2 l- \ P# }- c" ^- f
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

9 `/ \1 u% ^) J3 H5 K, z- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications
- l/ E9 ^# h/ m7 \# p6 L- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
* O' ~* Y$ I) S( v; R experience and education 7 c% m* Q8 H0 V M; E8 x# Z8 V
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
* _8 c M& D, A& [9 t$ \3 F8 C- experience in community work and immigrant services) F. M2 V: e& q$ \" z- N/ j8 M
- experience in website update/design
3 z6 }0 ?. V' N& \- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset+ M3 q; I+ }8 p3 l' L
