- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to ) F$ {! R' g8 N+ h$ r$ B+ @, |& p
provide services for Chinese community

access to mainstream services4 s; B; I$ _* @1 Y! E4 U: @9 }
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of ) j- K: f1 D5 X3 s$ z; e D
social services
# k& ?9 C8 B( _9 b8 a. Q: M- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
6 g0 e4 N: l+ X0 X; ^- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members+ \8 y) A8 y0 n# q* J* ?" r
- update ASSIST website
3 T( c: x1 n8 ^& n8 e- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre8 n" U7 z: ~: P
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
* F: L# i3 i; r5 m$ g3 h- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications
8 l" w" l5 [( Q1 B( g% L; e3 F- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of % N) l# p1 G) |& W! R
experience and education
$ t6 T9 @8 q5 I& a- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
1 \9 l9 [3 ~/ o m$ ~5 T$ Y- experience in community work and immigrant services" \, L: c. i+ J/ f+ v
- experience in website update/design
8 \, p2 f9 C4 B1 R. I/ J- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset, z0 T" {3 e1 J( j
