Job Description
- q0 ^* z; z7 D) J- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to 6 p/ k ?9 C9 v( G# M
provide services for Chinese community
6 K, c% M9 F8 d( H. M- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
8 r l& p$ }. [# h4 L3 E/ c access to mainstream services2 g. ^0 t4 e' t' R# {1 F V: w7 q
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
, c7 F4 a. |/ }, o social services
2 l: J+ w+ ^& f& s* k Q# b. n3 @- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
) E) z$ v6 y+ }- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

0 H7 i6 I! N+ g: F+ t" t- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre9 S7 [& O6 w+ R, I0 b5 s$ F6 V
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services/ u. T& U, p9 r7 _
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications
* D; J; R) S0 @3 _& \* d8 ^8 f- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
4 U1 @: q0 o7 c; A# p3 ? experience and education
. Q4 A. m: v/ N8 W) b+ F+ @- X- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
4 s" w+ N* @, x4 N4 K5 H: v- experience in community work and immigrant services
* o I0 \8 c7 N5 q7 K- experience in website update/design
! b1 r% G! s* F& y- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset$ i3 t' [3 ~3 v
