Term: 1-year Contract for Maternity Leave (Full time: 35 hours per week)

; V: `: r9 E: X- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population * M" U9 E3 X& Y) @: m8 r
access to mainstream services( Y5 z' i% C* o4 I. p
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of 3 u U d5 h9 \9 X% J3 [; l) q
social services+ }( S3 Z: w! g& K8 j: u9 H; N2 W j
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
' v7 t; P. q% c6 v- X" l7 U) l- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre/ q. B! o* ]* u: Q, T7 v9 l1 a, g1 p5 F
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services, t4 H" ]' E3 V' J$ v
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time5 E7 U* u, X& J
- update membership database

1 `& ]5 ]3 u- [- W; R- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of

- good oral and written Chinese and English skills& \$ d/ V1 S3 g- K* X
- experience in community work and immigrant services+ I) t8 _) \4 v' v# Z
- experience in website update/design, D4 o( r! Q1 @
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
