provide services for Chinese community% `8 ^ r$ p5 {( b- V
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
4 m& X0 ?5 m0 }/ t, q access to mainstream services
1 C/ q K7 s- t! w+ g' l# H: W+ {, L- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
8 V3 Z1 N* G- |1 K* ] z# D9 G' H s social services
6 p2 _$ M3 v" z3 I$ }5 _+ N- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies: D( w$ C6 \) K3 V
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members& E% {3 x# l6 `
- update ASSIST website
; l- l; a$ x3 h- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
# h+ U# l0 R+ @* j) u" M0 w- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

8 R+ n; w: w& a/ _# ^- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
6 y c% P/ i0 x/ L8 E0 m% s experience and education / F& f/ I4 g' Z7 }
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills. q; @$ e' o, g" Z* a
- experience in community work and immigrant services
: N! M/ h) {7 Y0 g- R. ~5 P- experience in website update/design3 e& p' e) c3 v3 A
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
