- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
3 `$ H% H4 I9 K7 v- s/ M provide services for Chinese community
4 E6 v; u+ O: r; x4 O- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population ' M( e2 ]( E( n
access to mainstream services3 p2 ?7 K$ ^/ L( H. m7 U4 |% S. E
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
2 F: {1 s) y% {9 H5 `* ~' ` social services
; U# K! z' L, Q$ ?- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies6 O0 Z5 y8 N Z9 S4 a. q: t! y
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members* o, C& T, D+ Q# Z) q. r4 ~* ^
- update ASSIST website( p2 d! B$ T) Q1 Z+ W
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time4 H: _, Q" w! {

Qualifications
8 T8 b2 E; ~* l8 y8 ^% _! S$ M; y/ ]- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of 6 y9 G3 g5 C! d3 {" a5 ]. b( y- X
experience and education
( h& m' n# @$ ]& @; g! [- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
7 T1 v `% B5 k. P$ K- experience in community work and immigrant services' U2 s, {; S: `
- experience in website update/design
, Q6 ~; z; H; v& ^% i. N E6 v- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset4 e* i5 o9 u; x$ K4 \! ~& e
