Position title: Community Development Worker

- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of 3 q% q3 T% T8 P$ N' e7 S% E

- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies6 a6 p0 @+ r- o! b$ o' n* ^% I
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members$ I1 H$ ]7 B- Z
- update ASSIST website
2 S9 A/ F) F; F! x- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
$ [3 N; k* N! f6 N- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

Qualifications4 Z9 ^4 D" _3 a0 h: T( H
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of 9 O }9 ^& l& g3 r
experience and education * y, n: u& E- F Z8 W |/ v# ~
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
8 L* E" i2 h5 X; }: D8 e- experience in community work and immigrant services+ J, V, T, U' {* d9 f+ L
- experience in website update/design7 m0 ~& A1 ?( M8 v2 I' z
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset3 Z% u* G4 R' z% n( k
