Position title: Community Development Worker

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to , P" N5 t T3 d

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population

social services
) O2 g. `; b: v; l- ]- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
+ u1 J- k1 V% b$ t- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services8 Y# c8 O, b- o& I+ P

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

Qualifications
; R. G+ E: ~, ^9 j+ q- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
* j5 G- d# f$ g0 T5 Q$ x, D$ z experience and education , Q6 @; v2 R0 S: G7 j- G* P
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills7 m# M) q. s Z; Q5 ^
- experience in community work and immigrant services$ c8 q' q. e# S4 z% u" s+ B7 V2 v
- experience in website update/design& v" C5 h. B- O+ c0 F5 I
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
