- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to 2 l- B! m# F8 }5 t
provide services for Chinese community9 b: L' {# @3 I c1 E& _% |7 h
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population & U `; {( @ t( \6 M$ r5 |# p
access to mainstream services
/ h1 u, e. M7 L: r0 J/ R3 B- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
; Q+ {9 i+ K$ x( C4 E. f' `, Z social services
K! }* R& i v$ }% N- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies: \. W" j: N: H3 {& y) Q
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members, q) R; S( H# Z/ {- C) U
- update ASSIST website7 A6 F5 K& C4 A5 z) l% l
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
( ?# p9 E# ^2 b& s7 D* g( F0 R- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

Qualifications W. N0 F i1 W- m: R5 @; z, T9 V
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
" d3 V$ f/ z0 `9 g experience and education " [1 C" U5 c; R2 L3 x r! g% q, V2 ~. c
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills+ Y# c+ ^0 \+ d/ {# c% z
- experience in community work and immigrant services# O$ c6 v' D$ T7 F. B# v( }" K
- experience in website update/design
* }/ ~- Q) i9 j, `- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
