- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
6 k* v4 \ N \! ]7 f k4 `$ g provide services for Chinese community- @# c+ s& I0 [
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population 3 p0 C* [6 V& c# S7 k9 s5 a
access to mainstream services
1 f0 J R3 R8 S" X H4 A6 J( F- v4 V- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of * ~$ C% v8 G0 k/ j4 n! Q
social services
) K J7 j( [" E+ `- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
( {+ Q' B1 E- K. Z- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members* ~4 B& e5 Y7 y- T3 u1 }
- update ASSIST website+ L5 R) x/ A& L7 W9 A/ W
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre4 f* s0 k1 O' k* o! H/ ]* v
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
: f0 C% ?8 }4 V4 J) ~7 N2 f- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications' g$ d( |1 f- G6 f
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of 3 ?) ^. C }. ~3 \
experience and education
7 ^3 F K: `& E+ c# R: |- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
9 g2 k1 c5 O/ Z6 A. g5 S2 i3 N- experience in community work and immigrant services
3 E) {: e2 k* _3 `- experience in website update/design
; O% L+ o; R! ~, Y3 R; _& u- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
