Position title: Community Development Worker

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
: \* u8 ]& a0 \# X6 ^; Q' u access to mainstream services
, d: \* c# D/ O. N @- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of

/ p4 H( Z, _# P5 ] i8 p3 I- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
9 E* b$ U! s m- D3 g2 z" G- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre7 h y( Y% {: k$ I+ A; j
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of : ^' Z! W8 C1 z+ l) a0 G8 k
experience and education
# B' d9 W" x5 [6 t! f2 b& ?) B: Y# ?- good oral and written Chinese and English skills. {5 X3 Y$ p; h, G
- experience in community work and immigrant services) K6 E z+ }1 Y# C: Y
- experience in website update/design* ^& Z! m& s" e. K) S9 N
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
