provide services for Chinese community7 D2 ^1 T& G* d* B) j% K
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
3 `& G: N* ^0 s, {4 i. U) D access to mainstream services
8 _* ]- v1 i* u: w- p4 z8 \2 d- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of . r; V/ ?( ^$ d' `) m) j3 w
social services
6 A9 H b t) w1 t8 d- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies/ F5 P+ F, ~0 E5 |% ?* O
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
5 N# Y6 |% b6 s8 Z, q5 {7 l- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services& i; ?5 l& c6 g- p4 j3 F8 a/ n
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time% U2 @ e' M/ V+ I

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

2 M |" ~; Z1 ]. X, p5 g2 K- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
2 F7 V0 @& C" x7 T7 X4 S$ U0 R2 }) q experience and education
7 ^6 X: c" M1 Q1 E: ?; E- Q4 x: Q- good oral and written Chinese and English skills- `. C# x1 Z `, q
- experience in community work and immigrant services
( Y3 t4 n# w8 C9 |. w- experience in website update/design2 i" `% L# y0 Z) p! C( _
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
