Job Description

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population 0 h% B# A- y% k+ Y2 ?9 @
access to mainstream services/ Y5 i# J8 d* |5 z+ y' Y- P
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
2 z+ N. h. ^3 y! h/ a social services" l, ?1 T! s+ m/ n; V$ e( M
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies4 L: g/ n9 a) g
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
. P- N/ m* k: l J0 ^- update ASSIST website) g7 c# g. w! S/ g" N
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
3 e6 B* r/ ]! E- I- C- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

Qualifications1 Z1 z- N; C6 ], I& n, b8 R
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
6 i/ f# t! ^+ u experience and education
* A+ |8 _1 i$ a& G6 u- y- good oral and written Chinese and English skills- j* C: R7 A* M
- experience in community work and immigrant services0 y7 @4 k9 Y: _) E$ a
- experience in website update/design
. y; O( z$ {- [! E3 [+ f8 z- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
