access to mainstream services3 ?# B$ [7 O2 k0 s, u6 j: n
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of : C8 t1 u( o1 z7 D7 q2 L X
social services
2 ?- W4 q R* }8 u5 c: h- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies5 x9 q& U6 R6 l* m# A
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
% n( ]5 @6 G. _$ k! D' A4 r1 r T. I/ v- update ASSIST website. a7 N5 j+ y" I) ~: H$ e$ J
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre/ S5 ~& W0 F2 q
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
- q' e+ ]) t- W1 k8 t2 b9 x( t- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of ( k7 ~' m) X; W$ w- g4 ?2 _
experience and education , _$ K3 o2 M9 J, q1 P
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
" P2 r% Y+ R; _- experience in community work and immigrant services
0 |3 V- G+ W: L! J$ c- experience in website update/design) {- |5 B- I1 R6 m- `
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
