- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to ( @% L: j ~2 Z k& x! X2 c
provide services for Chinese community
; v. e1 `3 c. ^* A$ S0 P# z- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
( I# S% R/ n/ ^5 c5 J5 e8 @8 Q! g K7 y access to mainstream services
* N& N% r: J& U- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of 3 s- y2 X5 C0 B6 P
social services
: f' ]9 | A. l. I, V6 K- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
* W/ O' {7 q7 T' {1 G, y- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
) ?* ^, H+ e7 G# V5 W- update ASSIST website
, D" V" B/ [2 z& i7 c& @. F- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
; ]9 g+ z) R9 c* h- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of 9 N% ~, t0 g9 n0 u4 R5 Q5 ]
experience and education 3 j j4 Q$ o, N4 [% J P
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
/ U$ w# Z+ _0 m' |0 L% b* a- experience in community work and immigrant services
- {: w& Q, D" N- experience in website update/design
( {5 E9 t$ d/ H- I- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
