- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to : Q$ \8 \, b, d9 m
provide services for Chinese community
$ P( }% Y1 o' V) h9 _+ `- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population

- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of 7 N1 h: s. Z7 W: \) }. U
social services
1 q. c0 L! f, g$ ^9 |( t- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies( q% H( G2 ^1 |6 M h6 q! p# L
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members9 B; Z1 T' V5 \* [6 I% x' a
- update ASSIST website
& |( l: {8 C2 M/ p! I+ T- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
7 H% o" }5 k- X: I. Y! v- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services I2 o+ E9 J# |- S* S
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

! B1 t( l' f# o% X0 l- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of 3 P2 A# o+ d, K) Y3 a4 r( A( W
experience and education
6 X/ `2 {3 H6 X7 @4 ? Z- good oral and written Chinese and English skills$ `2 ^5 F9 n3 _0 v
- experience in community work and immigrant services
+ V0 ?: \! p; ]) N& U- experience in website update/design
& z( W3 C2 J W5 f& T- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
