- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population : ~3 \, ?6 h2 {! Q6 ?: B
access to mainstream services
9 o- g2 X1 p) F$ m0 y- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of . p3 _* O3 k; @$ A* ~ S9 R) P
social services
7 c" b) P" J/ g* N: F* Y- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies% H' s" N: m6 E- b, J
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members+ ]. g7 _( j2 k; ~* y9 S: N
- update ASSIST website
9 ]) m9 p0 u a/ p- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time0 `9 H4 s4 S6 H6 S" y& u/ X3 G( i! a
- update membership database
- H" z; u9 `/ ^: R& t8 ]* j# G- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

Qualifications) N- u! D' |8 A5 _2 ~
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of 0 S/ v0 z' n* J6 l# p& i- `' `
experience and education
$ z: _6 v0 ~# Q C6 r, Z4 b- good oral and written Chinese and English skills( E" C: S6 L& s6 V: h; X
- experience in community work and immigrant services+ `. ^: S% g" \( i @; u
- experience in website update/design5 I3 m, x0 _$ o O
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
