Position title: Community Development Worker

- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of : [7 s/ ~' \8 N4 G, z0 K1 C

- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies: _- |8 { n* ~8 {
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members" Z/ ]! ]% w! S! {$ z0 D7 X* Q
- update ASSIST website

- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services0 G5 `. ?# T5 h
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of

' h; M5 p0 w* [- good oral and written Chinese and English skills! E. |3 f6 Q* d. e, j& p! b5 {
- experience in community work and immigrant services( u# c/ M% I. j+ h
- experience in website update/design0 E& A% e, @, A N4 d z- x
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset( l2 N0 u# h% O! g6 q' ]% [
& k; ]( u7 Z! p2 J3 c
