- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to ! r! \# Z* `1 e! C
provide services for Chinese community
+ a/ L) h$ P* G$ A- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population 6 U$ }6 {: Z% C0 x
access to mainstream services
( F' p ~. A' u- |, p- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of

# _, R2 h* x1 f( I. B) m" N- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies1 B- V# J$ g% J, T2 W* a6 O1 l
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members5 ~( o; V& l; D# D3 `: K& n; M
- update ASSIST website5 E9 E2 C0 U5 r& ^2 A
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time9 V7 k2 u& Q: W( B0 Y

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

Qualifications' W. ?5 Y E" M7 f
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of ' u* \9 ^% `( }0 O9 h4 V
experience and education
* W1 I1 l4 I$ l) R5 L- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
9 {" W. `. T8 ~% a) O- experience in community work and immigrant services
: G7 \! G& D; j( F( T- experience in website update/design
( W1 c) g% Q' X ^1 _7 C( e- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
