Job Description

provide services for Chinese community
- K; l% V) h9 n( M) h- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population + b- i! H* z; ^9 U$ f7 O' |* @
access to mainstream services
: I% s( S+ Q9 @) d) K4 r- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of 9 ^$ |* g" H8 r& x) ~! a: N+ n& H
social services
3 l% h) P% B5 x. f8 d- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
, B& v8 a& e+ W8 R( E; C- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications
2 G) m7 n4 F5 Z& g$ U- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of 7 u9 n; [# {* K/ g* }( g/ [
experience and education
: C% `' P( `, `% z+ B' G1 h- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
/ ~9 k2 P. e7 p' J. m9 t- experience in community work and immigrant services
3 z0 S0 \" i4 x. {- experience in website update/design
. A K; z9 o8 C! q- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset1 N1 w2 y0 F$ d9 {9 @# ^( R0 o7 Y
