Position title: Community Development Worker & _6 o: ]8 R0 Z; B. Y
Term: 1-year Contract for Maternity Leave (Full time: 35 hours per week)

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to

access to mainstream services

- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies

- update ASSIST website

- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services; u& ]5 V8 R# M9 b* X
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time9 h0 b" ]/ |) s% ~
- update membership database

Qualifications# X8 k' k- {. O, ~. k
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
) K/ j6 J; t0 t. e$ W experience and education
- @* g3 g [7 f7 z& w- good oral and written Chinese and English skills7 O) E/ A ?( Y. x) G* o6 V
- experience in community work and immigrant services# d. s V4 B4 a* S4 `
- experience in website update/design! J; f* T. o& S: m0 T
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
