Term: 1-year Contract for Maternity Leave (Full time: 35 hours per week)

/ n! N* N1 M1 n3 e* O- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to ' P+ e- E8 `; W+ P3 T
provide services for Chinese community1 O( P, G) B& U2 |# u
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population , R r" _: o( d b& P: j+ x
access to mainstream services( U0 m& e* S6 k- P
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
: ~7 [. X1 F; p6 N0 r& V; ?4 i) | social services
; W: p: a/ _/ y! y8 ^) _% [- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
9 g9 ?+ q% {" ]4 M- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members" l! @0 t% m6 g
- update ASSIST website
! |# G7 v. n+ o- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

) D5 g% u! u, M: T; D3 b9 s- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of

- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
9 e4 l9 m# E- F5 Y. ~- experience in community work and immigrant services6 s* w; E2 i6 p* v# i
- experience in website update/design
7 ~% S0 n; `: [0 ?: | L- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
