provide services for Chinese community
: a/ o3 j1 U O$ ?- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population . i; k3 A6 W+ `% }' z4 n0 Q
access to mainstream services
1 H1 ~0 q$ _& }' O5 L8 y8 _- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
) k& v4 H3 L% k& i social services; L: C6 Z/ B* U/ H
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies; q+ N4 K+ I) ]1 F: J9 z d9 C
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members* f" S6 u- k. ?6 k; _
- update ASSIST website6 g! e3 o3 C$ Y3 j! e
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre% k, m2 f, o) p' T& |
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
4 M4 e( d8 X" J7 b9 ~- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

9 }2 G# O, I- J' }2 z- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of ! T& Y5 x0 w: M8 G$ ? X

- good oral and written Chinese and English skills2 y1 d# S! U) c* J2 O9 c5 [
- experience in community work and immigrant services
$ i9 N2 Y8 X, ?3 }& Y- experience in website update/design( J8 d* ~/ E2 F) S; d# @" N1 w
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset: j4 f, r5 Z- |2 K, l' `
