- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to ! M" Q9 i% m. n% j; ~0 W9 b" w, X/ K
provide services for Chinese community
" ?; M. ]. P) k8 G- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
# s# U7 L4 M9 {4 f& v8 P access to mainstream services9 g) A/ m! s9 F2 b
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
) o8 k! R# v( u social services
0 K7 d E% I0 j0 L& \$ e1 f! B4 R- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies3 N6 S$ P9 _, r4 Y K
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

! R! z; a6 q6 }- N( z" x B- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre* F2 I* X9 [3 E% @6 u
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

Qualifications
6 ~, q* F8 n. ]6 Q; u N4 u3 v- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of % k: L9 r" u% k- \8 L( V4 {
experience and education
# D2 F% ^) D4 @4 ^3 d0 t- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
1 S6 h1 ?* D! \% R- experience in community work and immigrant services! q& r( N4 M& [) _4 J1 d( K( A! Z
- experience in website update/design2 @: A% j4 Z+ Y9 r, P$ W! F) ?
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset# n! l) E* z: a
