Position title: Community Development Worker

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
1 C. g* O" Q) o1 q* n provide services for Chinese community# C- J/ A' Q6 Q
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population - F- H" G6 `8 I
access to mainstream services
/ A" W/ @! [" {7 s- K- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of 9 ?) x# m: c7 e5 h) B8 f

- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
: V1 M" Z6 K( C& Z4 Y9 W8 \- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

/ {8 T3 ^' V! o- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of

- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
8 C, C! F' D9 I$ P \, z J! L- experience in community work and immigrant services
4 X, {, i2 ~8 @: }8 [- experience in website update/design
5 [) @) ~ d# i% l. x- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
