Job Description
! Q/ a1 U% i# z- C9 Q8 a1 i- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
! i ]; X) }* u [ w0 B9 y provide services for Chinese community
0 F1 L, V5 u5 Y* O7 @$ o- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
/ Y' A% n. T8 r! x1 n; H y2 ^; _ access to mainstream services
. w( y, }" {4 ]4 w; @( t- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
/ s: g* Y! |6 f0 a# T; @ social services0 b+ ]% w' s- h( Y Q3 q$ b
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies1 q7 }7 p4 u( q9 ?. ]+ f
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

; K: {- J' i+ D+ ]- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

Qualifications( u5 g& G* @1 z8 V- c' P- u
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of ' Q7 @+ v2 Q1 W' O
experience and education " x6 [# ~; ?2 ?% d4 w; m
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills) a( Q9 S4 V b6 @+ P
- experience in community work and immigrant services7 g4 p1 Y. S# f5 ~2 } ?
- experience in website update/design
% w8 i4 h3 W) M6 n( i( U4 y# s! B2 ~- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
