- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
P- a* e1 M/ K- ? provide services for Chinese community; Z9 l5 U9 s; f( k* s" i
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population ' U# ^4 e s2 ]: D" ^+ a
access to mainstream services
8 X$ v, n& u9 G$ {; }- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of 1 o& a$ M) r5 g3 A! [2 y8 d' b
social services' P( _6 K7 M, R! D
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
+ o, V) M2 }& g$ m( H* `5 l- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members8 m% C; d0 w- `+ A9 i' i \- O
- update ASSIST website: {+ v1 r4 B8 ^4 Y
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
7 g5 `2 q: W- l3 ]* n4 J: k- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services+ a6 S0 o. s4 H8 M E
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

) |5 a/ P4 q4 u3 Y0 V- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
4 O% y1 g# U! m# R/ U experience and education 5 O4 w0 L# v/ ?, Y' B
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills$ F/ v" F- N7 d# m& J
- experience in community work and immigrant services0 C. }) X7 O' H( v
- experience in website update/design
8 V' d; z* h* M- J8 e X8 M- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
