Job Description
3 ^" O' G" ^4 R- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
~( \# t! O$ a1 R8 W provide services for Chinese community3 O1 t. s0 q$ s" d
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population 3 X: P- Z: K( U( \* ^8 C. @6 r
access to mainstream services5 R9 `% x$ O4 {- o" v
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
! B* E. y0 u- r: j/ u c social services. Y# K5 b, V; E" }3 z
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies, a1 m' A4 `& d% @6 w3 q
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members$ X1 \$ _# l3 ^4 B
- update ASSIST website! m! {3 |3 y4 k6 ]' R- q
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
$ J: W+ t, X1 P3 u6 H+ {! D8 ?- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
3 ], B! f- r; |- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications
7 v" n* M3 G7 i! R0 x- y- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
) V. k6 G7 K# O experience and education
: ?* g! H9 c2 m- good oral and written Chinese and English skills% n6 f9 t9 X, `2 M/ l5 [9 D8 H: v& h
- experience in community work and immigrant services
8 \. {) B6 Z" E6 W/ u3 I3 c: a1 r- experience in website update/design
: d: w# r/ q4 Y" Q4 \) A- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset3 G2 R4 x2 E, y+ i- |
