Position title: Community Development Worker

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to

access to mainstream services8 @3 Q' v+ E5 Y
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
# h3 E- p# k# q social services, Y- K3 [( K/ R( G
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
9 g) l0 [+ ?$ K- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members$ M3 y5 ?8 A! H1 m6 m. Q
- update ASSIST website
0 N* F2 c* n. l8 S) |- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time! X: g( e% z8 T( d7 e/ k

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)# I0 g: }% h! P; j1 d

Qualifications
( f5 G1 y8 R3 @& }* x& I9 e- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
2 U3 T4 E9 \+ J+ E/ g experience and education
' [, ?$ E6 Y6 i) |0 t/ w- good oral and written Chinese and English skills8 A: E, A2 R" A% w. i$ [
- experience in community work and immigrant services. m: [( B8 |9 @
- experience in website update/design
1 G5 s# r: Z5 k- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
