Position title: Community Development Worker

% r/ [5 t* U% M2 [! E$ S# t provide services for Chinese community
; V' `7 j; v4 E3 R( o- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population

- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of : S- I4 F# \; t" B

- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies* \0 s) Q/ l B. f8 [2 |
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services' l8 l! j8 g, W' p% U
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time4 a5 ?4 J# J8 K0 e0 ~2 U3 N0 e
- update membership database

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of

, h0 d# j( {6 F; D1 Q- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
# H) K) j; q5 a1 Y- u8 K- experience in community work and immigrant services
1 V5 y4 G$ L9 y7 F( M0 A; |) U- experience in website update/design
