Job Description

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
4 ^& {! e8 z6 p3 x- n: l access to mainstream services
5 c; g2 | W3 n# s) T* h+ o- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
5 D" n6 n2 P2 f7 N+ ]; m7 n- B social services" Q) |0 y2 K, f$ @0 c
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
4 S; w$ C- U6 R- l- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members" C5 y0 }( }! L3 I
- update ASSIST website6 X: t5 x' L% X- Y
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

Qualifications: V6 B+ u3 B* W* C
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
2 c6 j( v( W/ Q; U6 m# ^ experience and education
6 L, f& ]& J' L% X- i) u- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
* T: Q6 U n. ~" A7 M! B- experience in community work and immigrant services" x+ E# M+ f' L$ V |
- experience in website update/design5 W0 L, q, f5 R) R3 U2 ^: M+ V
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset. E5 V( i( k6 K" h
