- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the ( M: ]! o. X6 `. w
preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
7 @+ L u- i5 |: H- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program' `: I2 W& B0 A% r1 _7 {
- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies3 h8 D( P* p8 |9 S5 @* O
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program

$ z1 ~2 O, m, E6 y' n" _8 ]- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
9 _; b7 M! R& j0 u3 I6 L Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
# n: x/ _2 h- h/ i1 W5 k- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children: x- [3 v5 v' u$ w- d6 W
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
4 r& l( @' Q; c: _( S+ I+ Q- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities( ~; n" J- k6 f9 L
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese1 }" w6 H! s' j$ W
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities3 N! t) \4 K9 b& X
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
+ U X$ F" V ` and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
; c/ M6 X+ | a; r- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

- $14.00 per hour
