Responsibilities:
7 ]2 u- ^* s* z. {: A& Y5 \- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the
8 |0 f: s9 t. ^% F preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps& @+ {: V' b# I+ L5 S7 {
- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program2 }: l9 T2 ~! x, m3 J% r
- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
& V @: q% X3 A3 E, F- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program
& V/ @# R7 ?. H6 W1 ~ Coordinator' y4 V7 g; \) W
- Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager: D2 x0 {. E: n* }0 L8 G4 U

Qualifications:
# \6 Q g3 U. U+ s+ C) p- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
. G5 N/ a, g. r8 Z* t3 B, Q8 y Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
3 l% P4 ~4 E; i3 o4 t- I3 D% \1 T g- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
" n5 A4 D9 s0 Z8 k+ f* z- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills. |( ~2 V0 d- K1 v) G3 w' i
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities4 |0 ]/ P& |" e! r" F6 E
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
" U/ H1 I( h0 R5 K% ?- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities8 W7 q7 E$ V! U' |1 g
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision M. H$ \$ j; E" k0 t
- Returning student (should return to school after summer)! t7 G2 c+ L+ i1 i
- Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning) - s( g$ S! s0 \: g& i4 m
and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
- x8 O8 W) u2 t J! q- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
