Responsibilities:
# G0 H8 P2 h2 [- Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program , |& S$ B. [/ ?3 v A1 g8 V
(ages 6 to 15) 0 G7 a" [% r5 J& M1 W1 z9 Y7 [
- Recruit children for summer programs
, M4 y" }" @( j) |- Recruit volunteers for summer programs

- Provide orientation for parents: [0 [* m* M0 r- R4 ^0 p! Y
- Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency

Qualifications:
7 ]* T5 i& s4 q' Y4 H6 q- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
; L# i! c% d2 v: h/ r- Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children* _# b- j8 O+ T
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills& b3 [: X! a8 l" ^, V
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities& R" G9 E2 A8 i1 u
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese& g. R0 F- K2 C7 m' R* }
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
# y+ H5 Z; O* `" B6 U! {- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)
