- Organize focus group(s)
6 A5 u" H# G4 {" L- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
& H: }& }( z! g0 ]! |( u. s. t% F- Recruit children for summer program
; b1 g. y! f5 J4 H- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
) [$ d6 G2 s3 N" Y* G- Supervise volunteer(s)
# m5 {- [: ~9 |& k" |: P- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
5 Q' i/ D, e0 K* a! I
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
$ l3 x3 v2 I, T# p% u- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
/ g0 n/ @3 h3 c* W  y* l2 ~  J- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
4 F  u+ L% D0 g- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
