Responsibilities:
" i6 T  H, _9 x: ?- Organize focus group(s)
: f% M! ~: t" B' B6 `( e- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
( |4 d) v. g6 |" `- Provide orientation for parents
) `7 a9 @) n$ K* U7 n& M- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- H) j  a7 k" |+ y- Prepare final report for funding agency
+ b" }; }" J6 |( B$ @+ S
Qualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
; U8 g1 t- X9 x6 f( e& }1 G- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
  B# N! F" @, p7 I. H  l* Y- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
5 ^2 m+ D2 |/ w" w, m- e# w7 v- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
