I) d3 p7 mAs a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications. 1 v; P0 x4 R/ V
As part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:, X; r8 r' \9 I1 y. i+ V; n* E
Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off.
p" U |$ h1 `: ]Create process and data models to visually represent requirements information. 7 M! o! q; W8 P3 n; q3 ]7 L# v( @
Perform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing. $ ]# p1 ]' _+ B x
Assist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase. b. @* B) F4 } \# q3 J) G
Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production. 0 c% }$ O, D& h; K1 j) j
Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems.
' D7 S' V9 `* e$ `, U/ PAssist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
. ~1 g( ?! |7 a3 `Summarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement.
1 {& G$ | L( U* d: {; T% p- UResponsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables.
. C8 a: h, {" l- |( m Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset4 M1 O7 |9 Q9 J! |0 C
• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
" v# C" H6 V% w6 ^+ `• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.
7 z. G0 U* Q6 l& } w• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.
5 c+ A( V6 m t4 U; U7 X• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.
