As a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications.
8 S4 P' B: [# A0 ^; cAs part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:
. h7 t* n z, N5 K' oConvert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off. 8 ^0 U3 h4 M0 R. _/ w- k
Create process and data models to visually represent requirements information. ( }9 d* q9 ?% z; }8 i8 n
Perform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing. # F- {2 l- _# ]) L
Assist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase. : h3 p7 R, d; b+ ?
Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production.
+ P7 U/ V3 T' I% |# K( w* _Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems. 0 j* L1 h" o" }! t
Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications. $ R9 Q( b, I- \5 E# s1 D0 h2 B
Summarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement. 1 Z6 R% d" i9 z% d# o; W$ Z
Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables.
4 f- a3 E* y8 h Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset8 H' e7 r3 J) c! i
• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.4 I, j# A, `) q }/ t
• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.

• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.
