HIV Edmonton is looking for a Fund Development Coordinator. This is a "hands-on" position dealing with HIV Edmonton donors, staff and volunteers on a daily basis. The primary responsibility is to develop and implement the overall fundraising strategy for HIVE.

Key Responsibilities: lead in the creation of a Fund Development Department in meeting its income targets for revenue and capital through existing/new fundraising activities; develop strategies for significant growth in income to fund new programs and projects; represent HIV Edmonton externally and to build high-level support for its work.) Q8 l+ V, V" a' Z4 X/ C' J' I1 B( u; u5 h
( o/ w. d0 T) O" LPLUS: effective coordination, delivery and logistical administration of all fundraising events; secure/confirm event logistics, sponsors, prizes, supplies, and volunteers need to run fundraising events. Specific events at this time include: Scotia Bank AIDS Walk for Life and a casino in the fall.+ L( g: {+ r. d" _) G$ J4 J4 p. J3 f
; H. r! h5 J5 W- W5 YIn addition: enhance HIV Edmonton' fund development volunteer base and improve volunteer training and support processes; maintain systems and processes for monitoring income and expenditure on a monthly basis and to generate quarterly forecasts; manage the development of all high level fundraising relationships and ensures/supports the involvement of the Executive Director, where appropriate.' @# a$ G" u) \

PLUS: oversees the management and development of the donor dBase; ensure compliance with all Canada Customs Revenue Agency (CCRA) regulations, data protection regulatory requirements and to promote best practice in fund raising.5 K* t. \1 z5 K }8 _) x9 c% m
