保险费用是否可以用来抵税？

请问高人：上班的单位给上的保险是单位和个人各掏一半，那么我自己掏的那一半可以用来抵税吗？或者也可以用来给俺家的那一位抵税吗？

单位出的部分肯定不能抵你自己的税。自己出的部分好像也不行，至少我没听说过，有听说过的么？

不能抵，单位交的看什么性质，如果是福利性质还要缴税。比如SUNLIFE.

Does anyone know that group health benefit insurance (half from self, half from employer) can get tax return?

Employer's contribution to Grp Insur. is tax free. but yours portion (premiums) you must pay tax. When something happens   (WU YA ZUI)  you need claim the  insur. benefits which collected from insur. company can be tax free (but the employer paid portion need pay tax after you receiving benefits from insur. co.)

Group life insurance, accident insurance , RRSP ,DPSP contribution paid by employer are nontaxable,
private health benefit paid by employer is nontaxable,

Personal  life insurance premium is not deductable, payment received is not taxable

For Group Life, Group Disability when the premium is paid by the employer,  the premiums are tax deductible for emplyer but not the employee. premiums are a taxable benefit to the employee.
The benefit paid to the employee is tax free for Group Life, Group A&S (Assident and Sickness Benefits),Group Disability when the employee declares premiums as taxable income.
