least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount. % c! o- o" n3 S2 ^4 D

4. Production of bio-fuels is beginning to reach critical mass. Bio

potential per acre in some cases is astounding. Many countries are

are now selling their used oil to bio-diesel producers. Every pork,

to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is : @/ |/ @8 O9 S) x$ D8 c$ y
producing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat. ! n. }0 E1 ?" z* T4 R- _

F; T Y4 s1 ?4 f! Q6. There are 99 nuclear reactors in various stages of planning and ) }6 z" C! s- B W- q) {. @8 O

will replace oil.

' d( y) q* O; v; R+ Aare experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new
" s0 C, a! W) S0 `) C2 t7 ^9 yequipment.

Airlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio-

capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas
+ N7 k: T; Y! Z7 I' pavailable at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude
$ I' W1 A& i/ _( ~+ ?1 Boil. K/ i2 w( L2 E% ^
, G$ }$ y) I/ O* a
7 D( ]1 }0 d6 n6 j& _, a9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2 ! Q' ?: s# r9 H9 O5 W
produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into

10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy

Each of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the

changing. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability 5 [' m$ c6 x: @, `/ v) Z
