The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

: G0 o8 a' m3 X. t/ r* ~ We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

: }; o( U4 [# d5 NDuties:
•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
" r* Z0 ~7 U# |$ _$ r8 F•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
6 i( k  @7 r  c; q4 s5 h/ ?& h•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

( ]0 a% l2 ?$ g5 bRequirements:
•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
: ?3 S+ u: a3 _; j' p# Q1 X/ ^# |•        Degree in the area of human services;
1 [0 e% q1 x5 K6 J. w2 U•        Able to travel extensively ;
•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
8 Y! [9 E4 O3 z2 z" `) ^•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
