Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
' P5 O# o% n' m) a7 P2 d: GFull time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
$ i8 w! }8 O2 i•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
0 e( H5 V- ?7 F0 O•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
( J7 S' m6 j, Q9 x3 z•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
. }7 N; J8 Y4 u•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
; q5 o4 S5 q/ S: o•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
) g- ^$ \1 p3 v•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
9 k/ Q$ R& |; h. N, x•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
