Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
2 |7 u5 I" n+ Q/ Q/ R- e•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
2 ?$ ?* y5 l9 H, l& J5 i•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
. m9 _4 w% f4 B6 F•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
" U9 n: P" N1 C; U•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
! g) G  z* V& v# K•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
4 V+ b) z  S* E( O$ d•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
7 H+ F! o6 c  r6 l•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
5 f  y5 A: j/ z& S•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

- g5 _+ X  b" M% ~1 |5 HQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
$ `9 m. f- G7 ^- N+ [•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
