Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
2 C6 V( F; }/ r% {4 F/ \7 {9 `•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
" B8 z/ m/ C1 c% `- }  g•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
5 s/ _+ j# A: z•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
) h9 x3 X6 ^7 o: B•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
3 O! N7 v* B( }) b8 ?•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
% u. i! M/ _" C+ E( S( p& P•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

6 Q+ q6 Q* w  NQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
, `7 X( z9 J1 h8 n7 Z  J8 [% k/ ^' ~•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
  [1 j2 r( W; ^& G; C! ~- l7 Q•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
