Position: Youth Services Manager
! T% I4 J! e& t- ]# m6 H! ?Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
- ~' t5 M; @' Q( g2 y8 ?' \& w7 R•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
% W$ n$ t. z6 @•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
% c1 l. ^* Q. N; a•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
, h5 [, o$ m6 }( L5 N2 i•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
3 b# w7 K% ~4 \$ O•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
0 ^+ |- R$ R3 w: E+ n, S0 i! a1 X•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

  ]2 [8 Y0 D$ _2 K8 H! m* UQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
9 _1 V3 _; G% q& a, y" k9 m: C•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
