0 W7 U) G( ?, ZFull time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
, j3 }, Z4 g) }  A2 K•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
4 q0 A4 I3 J; a. J+ C1 o9 r. J•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
! W  i9 C/ Y; N3 }; o•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
7 Y; v8 i4 u, ?. w1 Q•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
  m$ x- K/ @; ]- t•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
$ \. q1 ]5 Q! `; d•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
4 c3 W/ ~; a' |5 N& h" J+ D•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
$ H- E, c8 K* [/ P. [" ]•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
5 }* V  m7 q" Q2 A( l•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
% `" ^& o4 t& y6 b. B•        willingness to learn

•        requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
