Job Description
2 ?  B# `4 ~5 |3 w) [1 }9 fPosition: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

+ {! _+ [" O- K: v+ f$ W, g, n' K/ ?: _Job Description – Responsibilities
) b% E% V* a: n) F# q•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
3 Q2 Z; X- i7 i" J8 ?•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
# M' D8 N, n. _0 F! m•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
* ]2 s! y1 s6 ~7 W' ~- n•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
. w9 N9 j" u( t2 }' v/ ]' i•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
$ o, K2 v* d5 L- ]  g: q( ~•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
9 ?! F, ]9 L4 g: `9 G/ ?•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
