3 g& G2 m7 D) P  E! fJob Description – Responsibilities
) ]' X! o* J$ S; f1 N! J6 [•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
. d8 R) D: [  s4 Z•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
2 o4 j% ?5 i+ H: Z1 o) D* Z•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
& M/ ?- O0 C2 r•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
, B& C9 Q& Y+ j4 g/ n+ d9 m•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
; |+ K+ B$ z6 q  {•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
4 i0 Z7 ~& B3 r8 h7 P•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
