Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

# b1 q: z; n6 U, P. {% e3 K, v# g•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
2 i% G  g7 i; @, n; r( I7 N1 p3 c•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
% m! i# B: z1 K1 I•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
) b" R  v* w8 y) e. @•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
3 G3 b$ Q  l0 o; {•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
) v/ f5 I: y4 f5 C•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
" u/ j$ {! P/ e$ r% X•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

0 a+ N0 m4 h2 g2 ]Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
! f+ n6 U/ Y( @  x% \•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
