1 B. _9 d/ Z' |Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

4 P) g5 _2 A5 R! F# NJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
3 f7 u+ `0 k3 r! A•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
( a( {+ T7 d  _& N/ R$ M•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
9 t2 o* l* E( U  H# x6 L, S/ k•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
0 |' j# H, e9 M+ G4 }; ?' }•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
8 w/ H% c! R& ~" X7 y•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
3 t. `- w- o9 p& A- @1 x•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
7 T' K; |5 }( V* ]2 S•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
, p0 T! p# E& }% Q•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

9 L- h+ C7 W4 B6 [$ ^Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
. B6 x% q; g! E: |5 B3 X* [•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
& e5 T% K4 [) X! N•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
