Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

% t& f) i$ L" T+ lMajor Responsibilities: , \, u5 r/ U% S3 N2 o
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.9 ]% S) C8 e1 v1 w" ? V" K
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
) } H/ j* \; x" I0 J• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
% W/ M# y. M% m• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.7 w9 K* ]7 p4 K& v3 |4 u
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
) `, L! z3 u+ U, W• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.7 x3 q+ |1 z: V( L
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.* R( l. {$ }) P. q' K1 v3 O
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
! Q0 `' }: Y7 m( ~) ?( z- l• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools., k# o( G; `$ A' h4 i: N
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.5 F5 n3 a9 K7 O7 W
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.5 u9 ?- l0 s$ q$ u, d# q
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 4 m* g3 N7 V3 q2 V/ A4 E/ z* I
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
: c, h1 ~2 E* ~4 Y( R' H+ Q* M- n• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. & `) ?" x! S. L b0 W$ K
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 0 l- G; f# E3 ?+ |$ O* z
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

# Q0 I0 u5 K- K9 S, y• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
