Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant. N7 V: \4 v8 o R
Location: Edmonton

2 O$ Y( n- A5 P: xMajor Responsibilities:
) H: C, a7 v& j. [! ?• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.2 u! G) q4 s5 V# e1 J) T* \
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
4 B" w5 m/ e: H0 J) y, M0 U• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. # s7 b1 J$ u7 s/ o A. | y
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.0 e+ N! {; J( F: o# K2 J1 U
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
+ _+ F1 e& Z9 h* v• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.! d1 D. y0 {# j6 q% P( k& `6 O
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
! Q7 x/ F2 O6 J+ x7 G5 T• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.# e* {: Y s% q; j U
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
5 k I$ P+ x0 z: I3 ^* d9 ^6 x• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
# y: F' h8 U4 `7 M- R3 ^5 \. h/ a• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
8 ^ K4 a2 u0 u. s* b. G• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
4 n- d4 l/ y; p2 g$ }# J• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.6 {* v2 ~( _9 s! L0 m) A- t$ R

8 Y7 f1 q y& I- k, K" eQualifications:6 v. u) {6 N( S$ G8 n" ~# o- H
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ; `% W$ v% a( s; p$ F
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
" m7 M4 x" j \3 p4 e6 v' D• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. " f0 c# J7 h3 S. B
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
