Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
6 B, B% w( U) H }( o• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
. W: h4 P' [( \) u' W• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
: o4 y. X9 A; l* c• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. % A1 G$ V+ F# L
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.2 V% ]6 g1 M V
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
+ S0 x! I- _ Q: i5 K9 q! f' g• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
8 W ]( L, B. m. O- x• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
: Y" |- r" I0 c% g7 i! h• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
1 q4 D0 V0 u+ W7 d# ^, v) ` k• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.( e2 P* c" v4 n& Z0 n( x
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
& \, W& ~. @- B, Y* r( `9 X/ |3 b• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
H2 T+ y, Q3 P2 k @$ s• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
2 a, R* t8 j9 K1 i2 ^• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:6 T5 W6 L: `% d& G/ m; V2 Y: r
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. , Y1 _+ i# G* L, C
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
4 M- e. N% o) Q3 b( W6 S, [* c• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
' C* L9 r. h9 G+ |8 [3 w$ J! e0 O" r• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
% @) }7 R9 M4 v. S• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
