Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

Major Responsibilities:
1 b+ I8 [: B% X1 B" q7 y; M• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.& v6 D" o4 g6 {% ~& S
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
% G6 x+ `( @1 W$ V: h• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
+ \9 {7 c8 r! Y' G: u2 @& ?" ~! f) k• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
z) X3 \9 R& E* F• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
4 w1 r( L& H6 C, X# A/ W• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.- g6 N- |- {" @; r
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
0 m- o. v/ M* H# P& i) x• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.# y( P6 [- R* f* y& p$ m7 W5 p
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.1 X2 r( v( b7 v( V- F! ?2 i
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
: X% T4 B% ~; l1 w6 W• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
( b1 b) y" j; G• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.' [/ n; b. j: C" X
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.* V9 }, w& M% j0 J ?
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

" E) J! f$ K+ o. {Qualifications:$ O: z& v, h. z: ^" F4 K+ a
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. 5 [4 o k2 S+ J" v
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 0 k( L: k2 d5 u, p5 D
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
* b1 C6 o9 K G! s& E• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
1 F8 t6 {2 i+ o3 v" D$ h& H0 I• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential# |8 ]1 W, g' W7 N5 P# h
• Not scared of heights4 \, `. Y9 G0 D) w3 [+ h h3 y$ }
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other2 G" g& r! i' b! C0 |! `# o
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
