Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: ' g1 W- }& o* w) q8 \* T
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations., w4 F" M1 M) S& y3 [
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
M* C2 U$ U W- }7 D$ D4 I) `• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. : }& t4 n9 t: G F* A
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.+ ^' M, h# D& s& p$ y. N
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.2 J* g5 X7 R5 e2 c T
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
4 D( A& {- X0 W9 G; i8 q• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.8 l0 A2 F- ^1 f, B# o# P
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive./ T' v: a4 d" t5 B4 T: E2 ~, @
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools." H0 ^+ V4 t, [8 Q0 n" d) Z- I
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.. q, t3 a F9 S
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
; K; I: E. k3 o- [9 e- d• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
% T" A0 S+ B% S8 o7 U( }• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
( u( D" \ p. W8 {( b, _9 T• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 4 ?, {- L, a" U# |
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ) y! M6 o. n7 k2 e6 T( C! m
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
