Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

5 x! v( e1 R: _! DMajor Responsibilities:
7 N! j# z/ g/ N$ ~8 q- R•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
/ p4 |2 a. l( z+ M6 h•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.2 y  f! w# g) a4 j1 @/ ]. l- D+ X
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  7 a, ^# n- c$ b. {
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
) K4 B3 w2 v: J; g9 v( s' e•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
7 g9 ^* q/ F0 S% ]•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
! j) S% N* q- m7 S. B: o* j$ k•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.) |, S0 m  R- [0 g3 _
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive." j6 _# y5 w# \4 J! H  L: ~  F8 i- i
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.& }3 Z1 S7 c% _4 G/ n4 `# b
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
4 W5 g% t& u1 e' H" m" T" P  n•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.( |  _. ^6 w3 O
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes., s$ W& j8 l% O7 ^5 y3 `$ r. r( H
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.9 ^! u. F2 f* E
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
1 A/ ?* ^0 W. w# o' A( R) G•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ! K* c- F. D+ k9 a4 Y  n: Y4 D* d5 v
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
2 P5 h3 g& N8 \0 X- R" Y$ c•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
  l3 G/ i7 L4 o0 ^& L' q* L2 n•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
* }8 @8 N$ C1 c; u8 R: J•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential0 P/ o6 N6 q4 ~
•        Not scared of heights+ ^, }- |+ ^* m- t
•        Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other6 U- R* v( [2 H8 x3 P: j* X9 }
•        Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
