Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant% F9 O' n$ l0 \* h

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities:
' ?5 X5 _9 G( _1 f- x# f- Y* z• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
+ i% K+ E2 J$ G/ z) a/ }& n8 u• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
N/ q' T* D$ s• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. + M* z5 p2 o1 T, d8 O6 e. G
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.6 |# w. G( p4 G4 B& |& F% |
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
9 C. a* I8 J7 u" P* w0 M• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area., Y- {9 F* q! f& m$ Y* k# o
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.' l# O) W1 l% U& u7 U
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
0 z: X. l6 K5 }2 Y• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
+ ?; v" I8 }5 ~8 M8 P T• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.# s! P, Y! ~7 r9 Q
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.& m2 q" o& ]. J) z
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
; d+ _- H: n( L5 e+ P: i. m• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. + T$ f5 u" J- u8 x H4 z. d8 i
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. & `; ] r" S5 e
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. % Y6 s: [" B/ w5 R
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. & k* |7 q9 e2 L& ~4 G- b2 z+ O9 v6 B
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other0 I0 P8 Z/ k# V7 w+ j$ @8 y. I2 t
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
