Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant; d8 B- L( }: J+ x
Location: Edmonton

- V. g2 f$ A1 R# m/ }5 ~4 IMajor Responsibilities: : C ?4 H$ Q/ H' w
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
$ N! m, y5 Z& w. D) \! Y• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.3 M- k+ z/ K: J: T7 Y
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
9 I1 q ^% j* P4 e; I# B% E1 S! u• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
; `, Z# }8 ]/ D% Y& T• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.' U# R) A9 E3 C6 r
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
# ~; ?! f4 \- ^, h9 O• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.3 G! j+ h" f G1 A/ Q/ L. r9 P% I" g1 G
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
/ i2 ^9 m8 ]" K! o* r• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools./ S5 X0 u1 z* W
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.* F. }6 R l9 Y* s. B
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
1 \8 r7 t& A" ^ S. Y• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.) b2 q0 M% U; O: p- u9 C
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

9 ^4 X8 e# V/ D t$ y• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
l" M$ ^# n& R4 Z' {2 V/ {, B' t• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
( k# T- e$ H" z: C% j• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
: K' g- B: ?. k3 d• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
r3 g# v# P- D/ [ J& r2 N• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential& G. C0 B% k, |+ x
• Not scared of heights
8 Q; @" |" Q6 {2 Z0 S F• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
4 h/ u& j) x' I. T' k4 b• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 1 h, q0 p; H' t2 u# f9 j
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
