Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
# Q% z" O; m  x5 e# }•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
: r; f, @1 ]3 {$ D•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.3 `3 R/ g' Y1 ?
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  : |* O1 a. v( m: c. s/ {; X' A% Q
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.% q9 K. m3 I. J2 v
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
4 i& X3 e* @; W( N3 _•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
* E/ J3 p6 ?# `- Y" R9 f( m•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. / [' e1 R1 ?! d5 W! J2 S7 K& N1 L  N
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 0 E; ?* u& f8 L0 p( b& H0 [7 y- ~
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. + O, [" [! X7 I: H- V/ ?/ `0 J4 B
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential' i6 U6 g$ ~& y! K) k
