    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program
4 A  H/ |1 b# |. q. ~) C$ j+ d    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities; |  g+ \/ R2 O; [6 O  I
    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes2 K. B; t5 t+ [' ~4 t( w9 j. Z% z
    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
! z) \0 |# z  e    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders
+ [  l1 n1 i; v9 U" T- A. u/ g0 \+ ]9 U6 }% u    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements, @+ _* a$ t2 O1 L" m9 x( d/ P
    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs( n3 x( i9 o3 O
    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director6 E0 ]5 p9 ~0 ^, v; A8 ~
    * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning: C3 [1 H( g, z: y) f8 |3 Y
    * Develops high quality promotional and educational materials' k6 [1 K& ?+ P
    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media; o( l. ^+ ^- f) c
    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results
( Y" ~4 [1 {2 H5 E" h# @    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies$ t3 ]. f0 f0 q3 g& q# Q

    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred
2 R' D7 D0 c+ Z, z) p) @    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth+ ?4 {1 |9 _' r5 ]8 h
    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset
- K) ?" o! ]; t' F7 O0 P7 X4 e- T    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies2 e% h/ M2 [+ r
    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills
& G- e2 h* F% U+ A$ C) [% C8 L( D    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning
