Driver killed in early morning Edmonton crash

. r. Q A7 | a' z( u2 r4 b# ]9 MEDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.
0 L) l( y* h4 K& UPolice said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.( H) N8 R- q, k: q
Officers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.8 S. Z0 @9 I$ {# r8 n s% B) P
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
