Enhanced Respite Program
Coordinated Enhanced Respite Program- W$ u: {% C' s2 C% p1 k( m
The YWCA Edmonton Family Services program is
( K& b3 W1 j% mrecruiting for community support workers in the
" E# x, E% ^# F" R' J4 CCoordinated Enhanced Respite program at a variety of
0 j: N7 d; V8 P5 V' o5 R7 Ylocations in the city.
: S7 U, q: i; g9 p+ oStaff would provide respite care to parents or primary L Z" V9 S" V, E
care givers of children with moderate to severe physical- H4 Q d- K8 k+ y) J" [
or cognitive developmental disabilities for shifts of three
7 R M( `; c8 g9 H# f3 o(3) or more hours per day worked. During the school
" o. w; j7 W8 ?5 P) N( K& xyear, as the children are in school during the day, the" j$ O; X- {2 _! i6 }" h
bulk of the hours available will be late afternoons and

However, during the summer months, there will be

• a minimum of six months experience in working

disabilities (this could include volunteer work)
