Enhanced Respite Program

The YWCA Edmonton Family Services program is+ F/ M+ U" S7 p4 E9 K& Y
recruiting for community support workers in the
* u; t# l7 `3 U& X+ jCoordinated Enhanced Respite program at a variety of
* y0 N$ r& B& K& nlocations in the city.+ _0 ?; }- M. N) o P
Staff would provide respite care to parents or primary
+ o0 k- ?* W4 ? I7 c5 w4 @care givers of children with moderate to severe physical; H$ w* E# o( b, _ }) e0 y! }
or cognitive developmental disabilities for shifts of three% p4 T' c, L' `; s8 @( m
(3) or more hours per day worked. During the school5 ]1 Z# i# f+ Z$ `% \
year, as the children are in school during the day, the
! _, b# N/ N2 d! Mbulk of the hours available will be late afternoons and' B1 [+ M3 d, |2 D
evenings or on weekends.
