Enhanced Respite Program

The YWCA Edmonton Family Services program is
- Z& T$ Q6 F% D) I' Krecruiting for community support workers in the
; E% B( ^+ d4 KCoordinated Enhanced Respite program at a variety of0 K4 |/ W# M3 W6 ]7 O5 {
locations in the city.
- u5 D1 {7 z3 XStaff would provide respite care to parents or primary/ y0 \3 G/ x3 V- w2 }( B. M, E4 M! L
care givers of children with moderate to severe physical0 U7 `: Q' b& L) q7 z" R. F
or cognitive developmental disabilities for shifts of three* B' t e: H- Z& t0 I; g1 w
(3) or more hours per day worked. During the school
$ M! k, E i5 I$ f- U$ x9 Byear, as the children are in school during the day, the, F6 a& f P' Q4 c( h) {
bulk of the hours available will be late afternoons and
; i0 t, X& T" I! Z. |8 H& Revenings or on weekends.
! o- R. ?( _. O+ WHowever, during the summer months, there will be
3 ] [8 y8 I/ e. b _extended hours available during weekdays while

disabilities (this could include volunteer work)
