Position: Youth Services Coordinator
Full Time Position: (35 hours per week)

2 J' {3 P$ K7 |* m9 b( e7 ko        Accountable for Towards  A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program
o        Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
) t/ B8 A9 W% j  i! N. A& o0 Ro        Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
o        Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
; a" v% c- u7 e4 G) i1 ?* ?4 Vo        Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
o        Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
9 D" b) j* b( {o        Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
  k/ }" f& ~& S" j8 T5 ?7 e  Fo        Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
o        Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
/ {* p7 b) j/ L7 E; {o        Be open and willing to explore new ideas
5 i- Q* y$ A: Y0 W. G& s$ Uo        Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
o        Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
o        Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
o        Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
o        Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
o        Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
o        Willingness to learn

o        Requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
