5 }! j5 o8 T' T" C  w8 SGrandin out of School Care and Daycare is registered as a non-profit corporation.  Grandin has both a Daycare and Out of School Care in a shared building facility located at Grandin School.  September 1, 2008 we will become an After School Care Program exclusively.  

- G' Z4 f/ L# Y+ [The Grandin Out of School Care Board of Directors is inviting applications for the temporary position of child care worker to start as soon as possible.  This is a full time summer temporary position with the possibility of progressing into a permanent position.  This position involves working directly with the care, programming, implementation of programming of school age children on site and on field trips off site.

QUALIFICATIONS:
, \& b( {" g" x        Commitment to the ideals expressed in the Grandin Daycare mission statement and a desire to work together with sponsoring bodies:  Catholic School Board, Grandin Administration, Grandin OSC Board of Directors, Staff and Parents.
) ~6 D) o& g. y) R# V( l4 @        Level 1, 2 or 3 childcare certification or equivalent education
        Experience working with school age children
        Responsible, ethical, good communication skills with parents and staff


RESPONSIBILITIES:

8 r/ O! C* q2 ^9 n" F# z6 i/ Y% a         Supervision of school age children in a summer Out of school care program in accordance with the city of Edmonton and province of Alberta licensing regulations and standards
         Providing nutritious snacks for school age children in an Out of School Care setting
