7号牌模拟题的问题

下面这道题我总觉得答案不对，可是又想不通，在下请各位指教：

If your gas pedal sticks while driving, you should:

a)Reach down your hands and free it
b)Try to lift the pedal by slipping your foot under it
c)Try step on it firmly to free it
d)Shift into park immediately to stop
e)None of the above

电脑模拟题的答案是（b），我不理解觉得这样做太傻，而且有可能把自己的脚卡在里面动弹不得。我自己选的是(c),但是现在一想也不好，也许会导致车子突然加速会追尾。

c 当然不好了，本来车子就有问题了，你再加速，那不是玩命吗？而且，如果往下压，压到了底，它自己也弹不起来，岂不成了一个撞twin tower 的小飞机？
