7 v2 \1 B) T, w; vWhen we were called the Sick Man of Asia, we were the Yellow Peril.
6 d1 S1 S) Y' D* M' O" |0 I" i) ]2 Q2 yWhen we are billed to be the next Superpower, we are a threat.

2 J0 W! M0 X0 H* rWhen we closed our doors, you smuggled drugs to our markets.
When we embraced Free Trade, you blame us for taking away your jobs.

  ?6 J1 ]. H% `9 [4 ^2 lWhen we were falling apart, you marched in your troops and wanted your “fair share”.
2 r$ q4 _& m4 Y& }When we were putting the broken pieces together again, “Free Tibet” you scream, “it was an invasion!”

" b  n+ k/ @( V: r. ]* iSo, we tried communism, you hated us for being communists
) z8 U# X" D9 O0 X2 x" xWhen we embraced capitalism, you hate us for being capitalists.

When we have a billion people, you said we were destroying the planet.
' }/ d5 Q6 z' q) }# H* R/ p2 qWhen we tried limiting our numbers, you said it is human rights abuse.

$ z' {8 s& e" Y3 h3 ~. `% qWhen we were poor, you thought we were dogs.
When we loan you cash, you blame us for your debts.

$ A) G+ A7 P, d, aWhen we build our industries, you called us polluters.
' J' ~% R8 T/ P3 M/ f) O) YWhen we sell you goods, you blame us for global warming.

" S0 X8 y' Q; \) ~7 S" `% ]! WWhen we buy oil, you call that exploitation and genocide.
When you fight for oil, you call that liberation and democracy.

- M% v. [! j; O( d* ?4 T0 f9 EWhen we were lost in chaos and rampage, you wanted rule of law for us.
+ z% W" J3 b# V# X/ q- LWhen we uphold law and order against violence, you call that violating human rights.

+ t! C3 A* Y# r" Q- rWhen we were silent, you said you want us to have free speech.
When we were silent no more, you say we are brainwashed racists.

# V. o, N) K( n6 M2 Y9 K* @9 v: wWhy do you hate us so much? We asked.
“No,” you answered, “We don’t hate You.”

We don’t hate you either,

“We have NBC, CNN and BBCs…”

What do you really want from us?
Think hard first, then answer…

Because you only get so many chances,
Enough is enough, enough Hypocrisy for this one world.

This big blue Earth is big enough for all of Us.
