Duties
+ u& _; g3 p, ^Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
) \9 W1 ^1 v% ]# l9 kResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
6 t( R! U9 B# P* Z/ e; h; EDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
( f% m# ^& ]! VDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
1 r* @8 T7 i1 j. mTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
7 p# ^. m  ~1 F& d! h3 bRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
