1 T( s) v3 O( v/ ~5 v8 uWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
6 [( t$ ^* {# X- l' J3 ^Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
. {* X! T' K* V$ e4 M$ F- ]9 qWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
( W, B) X: b; U+ h+ o: CEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
4 g1 t& y% }6 G3 p7 H$ ?Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
3 S- L3 Q, c9 ]$ A" ]7 hDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
8 P/ S& [$ s8 q4 S( y7 c9 dDesigns, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
' \7 N, u' f6 X4 t6 O. A) tTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
3 v7 d+ V  Q: d& \5 uMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
9 \% V: M: A  v; K- D8 MExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
' j4 z: {0 t; o- Y) x/ N5 gStrong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
