Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
- G* l' O8 j  b9 T2 T  ^/ YResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
+ b1 N0 x' T, b) w5 TEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
5 u+ d: D9 A2 c4 x% S* PDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS

, ?& a" i  X$ ]0 r0 D, Y; P9 ATwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
- |3 H4 W" r3 x8 XRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
: v5 o8 H1 z  [: f% {Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
