-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
$ [" C2 Y2 b* {7 V# ^2 t-  has taken an English language assessment test?
1 Q+ O+ B2 m) U$ m-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

; l. e! c8 d: b" _If the answers are yes, then you are invited to apply to attend our pre-employment program

7 C7 D0 L$ U2 W% I! Y2 gMAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

THE COURSE OFFERS:

2 x+ d* ?3 F  l2 i9 Y; E8 ]" t% |Counseling to help you find what is right for you.
; x9 s& I# @5 ^6 {Opportunity to develop your English Language skills.
Opportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
Information about community agencies and services.
" k; _2 w  j6 q$ y, VInformation about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
: N6 |! {: V. g# A8 {Continued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.
