Are you an immigrant woman who:

- arrived in Canada less than three years ago?

- scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

MAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component. It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.4 E7 [* j! n s: A A3 Y/ o/ A' c! S# M! @
& T) p8 n6 [& R1 z2 ^3 \! ^2 q$ G

Counseling to help you find what is right for you.
' D: i/ N- Z, Z8 @2 h2 COpportunity to develop your English Language skills.7 U; M9 M; w* U. c9 u$ C( M4 |7 M
Opportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
% C8 \+ w) i, d4 z f6 nInformation about community agencies and services.
; V* l5 w. ~1 o3 n1 VInformation about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.: u1 d5 T5 ]2 Q" M
Continued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.
