- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.; t4 A) S0 o0 z' v9 C
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker

- post secondary diploma

- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community, b. p- i7 T, M
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
# L2 h% M: K4 _0 T: w' Z- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
3 ~) N: f% c+ M( ^7 B& z- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
9 M; J; z9 i1 @1 ]! ]- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
2 l4 u: A6 u! p- update ASSIST website: E [+ f; X- t* m! I; z- Q
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre: s; |- ~/ s( h! Y+ c7 }& _
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
" X A7 \/ N; N6 O) ^' U6 O- assist in writing proposal for ISP
, D0 E! ~8 [$ x& \- write quarterly and final reports for ISP8 Q1 L2 u! q3 |( _$ z
- hold regular meetings with ISP team

- update membership database

7 D D2 L' e' C1 {8 @- f% h5 q- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education . z) I3 w" h8 U- b
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills. Y; `) i( g, C
- experience in community work and immigrant services# \: Q8 J- J! Z% L/ E1 n0 t
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
