Description:
1 e' T6 c# `, F; w* }This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
$ O6 b" M. i6 w0 O7 Hbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

. [6 v5 V( G5 n5 A) n) s) lTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
5 \4 ]+ s; W! V1 C: fof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different( ^2 {* I+ r6 {
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.( Z- O% A3 |1 c) |/ k
0 j4 n, R# @# ` e& y# wCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
