EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。+ ]2 ^) o/ [" l7 b
1 Q/ K: l0 @8 z- o时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

" H" c% A3 R8 \8 b4 gThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
- o" E% j; w# W) Vbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.+ y" q6 V9 s+ Y8 o* B" ^3 q. j

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
% X W9 h- e; c2 p7 R- M9 R, iof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different8 u. q5 E) x: q% g
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.' X& [( m% n* v, I. f. O; {

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
