EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。* i+ v, z" q" q) r' y7 L

Description:
- W5 Z9 Q8 c; s& p. bThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for6 J" H- o4 E4 F6 ~: n
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.5 W+ ?' O* b5 _! d8 i P
& o" Z" ^) o1 j9 d4 w- a. R% O/ o
Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
, X( L4 C+ O" q1 gof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different: R7 F* v/ {" m% z
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.; j* t$ h& W8 L
8 t+ p5 F3 l$ H" U s9 v4 {$ _6 r5 DCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
