EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
8 p3 j Q5 p" T% `( f" S" m: Bbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.. z6 v4 J! c* i [: p) A

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
5 l9 y$ x3 n* N0 Y/ B1 Xof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different7 M; s7 j; S( T8 [2 O
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.3 Q! Z) A0 m9 p! D( I2 q% h0 P

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
