3 a2 V5 o: n/ vThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for. _( F8 Q( {- Z1 m0 l
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.! u2 y/ D! E- R! v: S
& U% K( y3 P* A9 G! B( }$ g# O" @# tTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
' p- ^3 ?$ a2 Y) `" Q$ t+ i, T" I( h3 Qof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
