This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
+ Z) ?. g' c4 a% `: Y8 T; ibecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
9 U# D$ M- J/ Y$ I6 u' m4 [of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different6 H; T2 a7 R P; p/ X1 q+ `
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
