EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。/ B4 U2 X$ a( K4 Y$ h6 m

时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。/ {( x3 L( ~: F ?( s: t+ l

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for- \$ x8 i6 F( [
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

3 W% }" L1 }( rTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
: H: Z( x: s: |) o0 V9 nof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different$ V+ y/ L: y$ C, _# G; }
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.9 C' W6 a0 M% i/ p3 p

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
