! \, j9 g% G9 [ G" C) ]EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。

0 t8 s6 Q- t& u% G; u- W% KThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
9 j% V$ O3 y0 u! mbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.- |6 x% E _( D- Y1 w5 q& q
/ G* i9 ^ T, A9 h8 P K& z
Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials" r' A7 d% A) E
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different: J5 e J4 n0 c- i( O" w; s
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
