EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for, E5 n0 k" W7 Z$ F3 Z
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.# A6 {) u' m3 W9 Q: }
, X; H. k3 N7 m; V& {Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials) e1 L) X" [2 y7 m& J
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different! m9 S( E5 G( L- a+ ~ X) a
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events." ~6 D$ `1 h# ?6 s7 W

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
