好了，现在这样的机会来了：

EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。

; x, n+ x- T' `/ `7 w# d, LThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
& v. z* `* w& A& g# Ubecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials" I6 B. j; W- j5 _5 {1 A
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different/ c! L0 A f$ R ?: `, @5 ]! A
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.$ s; W$ Y+ X$ ~* J' D. ?3 G: i
