EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。% `/ [/ B2 F3 y; Z- d3 d s% Q- C( ^
& _! o4 |) s$ j* K; w2 E时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。

Description:
$ s3 x. {& N, S L0 c+ AThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for6 C4 l, |8 @+ \5 @+ U/ k
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

& g6 @2 z' J. P# \5 D- jTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials% Y) |& O) K; K: k9 q9 Y* n4 A
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different% ~7 C4 N, v. l
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
