时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。4 u, U" u$ Y( u

5 p4 }) u" Z" u7 W$ u" d4 }This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for/ {3 t, v5 d5 i1 z8 f
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials. Y8 C3 I2 j* N* e3 o. O& d
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different1 P% e8 i1 d# }
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.% ^* S/ q o5 y( K' S" T9 w$ Q" @3 ]

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
