EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for4 \, G' `$ V# C/ |2 P
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.! A/ M: A5 d" r' g3 e
$ z6 e9 w+ E/ K# t( x# t9 _, t; {1 ~Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
* K/ t. j, W/ U! i' Nof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different. G8 Y4 a" v. ?- h8 E& O
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.+ N# U# L5 M4 ] K
+ `$ F0 z( _' z1 P
Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
