EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。+ U4 e4 h1 @ R$ s% [

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。4 e: j1 b n! g& G

: D+ u, _9 d9 J, @( X4 t9 Q2 v" tThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for& ~7 n8 w6 i( U" Q/ M6 e- p# n' c! M
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.. f. `8 E& Z7 E$ i; a+ m: V" D
% Z/ y2 \3 r V8 ~6 W0 a F# w8 WTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
5 s3 M$ Z9 U4 Yof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
