EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
/ O7 c4 u1 B' }becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

6 l2 o. ^ C8 t' B' OTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials% f+ f+ G$ g l2 `, E2 B1 }
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different7 l* S, x4 G/ M9 e: ~0 E% w
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.* j$ s* R( d" I
/ F8 H) @- ~; L8 ICertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
