EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。- L" P% i) W, w' q' {
+ X! {0 `7 x. L0 y时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。5 Y% A; \( s" ]* Y

- a( J2 C3 r0 U: S# LThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
+ x+ F. z% I9 X3 b/ p q0 fbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.+ L1 c {- C) ~
4 k# Y7 S3 Y+ O1 v$ PTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials0 ~! z& j: h4 {( |' s3 J# N
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different/ ^/ Q. B7 V, r! N# S, p# m! O
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.; \! d f% J5 |1 R& \
