Description:
+ ]1 o ~ e! F$ v- TThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for9 Z- _0 C/ }2 g) X2 ^
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

$ P! _# ^& `% x% F, _Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials" n* [2 n! v1 o D1 y
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different& o+ U# I6 C: ?9 Q! Y$ r: A" D4 ?
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.% H; A4 G$ Z$ X' n) P8 [
