EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。1 [" O H- c+ y1 \

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
& E$ {; g6 [3 g6 |1 \6 |1 ibecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.3 z& `# P) f5 ]4 T
2 E# F1 |# F' P# b+ ~; N) e4 }Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
9 o( p3 z u* r2 qof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different! X4 \, g$ C/ z8 I! S
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events., i3 w7 |; z" h% ~+ u

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
