This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
2 o' T4 a6 N& c/ X5 @2 tbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

& h: o3 K* G `. |Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials4 e6 B3 q6 i2 ]" l
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different8 I* f2 p& P9 P0 S' h
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.* t8 z. ~9 i: D3 J
