This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
$ I( M5 V5 V1 v+ T h# Fbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.1 j9 R0 u2 c& {6 C) `7 s* G
) N. V# b: f6 h+ m$ KTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
1 e& A; `8 D+ b& }8 c/ Cof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different* I) D' [+ `. h3 n9 D: _
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
