% ]2 ]; x, Q) V5 n% t( MEDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。- T( q6 {: ^9 ~0 g# i. _6 ~ e

3 K' H# ?. N2 Y+ F3 ?/ N6 x6 O; TThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
* H9 Y% r- h% M% _( c+ E6 a* Ybecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.& A A% R' ]* G9 J6 X# a! l+ v

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials& ?( X @2 j& z* t, l! ?8 h" `$ U
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different4 U u+ p5 n! Q
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.+ g- w/ D ^/ Z; _
" a2 Z, k# h& l- K0 { \( w6 r' sCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
