EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。2 P/ z( a% p! `7 I- I2 x

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
l# H/ P# k% n" X0 Wbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.9 Z3 g g0 a3 M! m+ E1 U* k4 z! E1 h
7 O _! @. r) z+ wTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials. C/ d; q6 ~. I. k! b
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different2 ~# g% p, E9 u, X/ w7 y
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.* V8 E _0 q. u# Q2 }7 P: R1 E0 B

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
