This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for/ M1 Z5 x4 S2 \& F; q% V4 Z( L
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

3 P- r- f& B: @7 n1 K; w# g" uTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
6 f9 |/ ^( `! c& ^, lof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different i, \7 L+ Q/ r- L, `& g9 l
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.8 ?7 w7 G( s( E2 Q: m* z* [( t2 E

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
