时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。: K b9 o& I; o3 t; f0 G

: F# w0 ]5 R {0 x$ Z! qThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
$ ~! P4 k3 W1 ?9 |* o3 Q8 Hbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.3 a" V4 m+ I! B( F1 k2 {
^! h* Q$ q# x" v2 ~" @' cTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
* _1 d1 n: f: A* I1 E: W+ j3 _of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different& @) x2 t/ q' v
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.- \; f3 q# _" b' Q' S
$ F S6 q6 O9 T* v* s" z9 n; a1 T( uCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
