EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。* f/ u }2 v9 o% y

时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
: z4 h8 B8 A* R8 E6 J! J8 kbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them., E) a0 Y2 q" @

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
; {* q* v. M) Jof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different, [) g3 h3 N. ?$ R$ K+ i4 M
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.( w5 _) P. }2 x5 m: _- L
1 f# T9 U. N, h1 n fCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
