EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。* A3 C+ r3 D9 v* u0 h/ K' I. ~* L

时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。

Description:
1 ?9 @6 W4 [# G4 R WThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for# @; y" {" Q5 f
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
" x" Y/ N$ O0 p: {& `% _' {of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different! ^. v% T, W- o2 S8 p6 M
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.' n2 s% l8 Z$ Z4 `$ G! e9 D

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
