This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
8 @. c9 [2 u" `: `( o* Ybecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
" P& W& h+ v8 p, `; pof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different: C% G N: v+ L0 p
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.7 u: G( O! |0 B7 x$ @2 ^: V9 x4 h

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
