EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。1 M0 P5 z0 ~* [. z5 I( L- I
' z, x( w, W" m* ?; c时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

0 U) O0 j3 ], g/ x3 bThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
6 _+ U# c/ T% \: n4 pbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.# U9 B V) }- Y- T( V
9 q' p1 U/ W6 i% ITrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
+ V: J8 ~+ P w8 v! Xof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different8 q7 ]6 Y0 a+ x# @/ G9 v- ?
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
