Description:
1 J- U' O, i4 C* c3 Q; rThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for1 k) ?& \ `* Z7 {( N
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.$ p' K! I/ w0 W

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials2 E; O) g1 \, e
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
1 u& a, a: _+ Q2 K4 tcertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
