EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。0 E; z+ S; [# Q# ?
5 \: I8 B" K6 E; \+ V( c0 R; [* w时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
# U. r) F$ [+ k( [$ z7 Qbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.& z* J3 Y; W5 h2 x+ r% a
; a7 V' q7 d! ]8 T! W2 b, g/ UTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
1 c# `) s6 Y- U$ _( eof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
$ n0 a. o9 p# w; k/ Icertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.$ y" N; g* J4 S1 r
5 L; n; c- y& S5 O6 dCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
