时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

Description:
/ z6 z# d: D4 I3 I4 O* A) KThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for8 X5 D" X3 w6 m% f2 j7 |% N9 |: \
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.2 T; I) W, A* j2 S0 \9 f

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials' e# e% Y! P; y- C/ ?- q- Z
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different* f% m- G7 [' P' m2 Y" {
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
