EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。1 L9 C7 v1 f8 D; Q7 ~ V
! i! g0 e1 l1 H0 b时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。& }) i5 F. r6 J. n6 @4 L! J& j

$ K1 \: L: b a( jThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for. Z/ \4 ~& _% o$ n4 @" u$ u
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials$ x# n! J! G4 x
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different$ M# \9 p/ y% N0 n% K! i ?
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.- R& ^1 C y# T4 \6 F L
7 ~6 W9 \1 v- e% w% |, n& ECertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
