Description:
8 g. ?" j) o& N6 i; T3 p" ?This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for/ z7 p3 V `3 u/ t e
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.6 j' r( z' F: G/ h, {7 O( T$ K+ `) I
3 [2 u4 @ }! |8 P1 D4 Z- aTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials5 o+ {. E9 Q- {6 ?9 q
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
