Position: Programming Coordinator / Location: Edmonton / Terms: Contractual

Context: The Provincial Health Ethics Network (PHEN) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that provides resources and education for addressing ethical issues related to health and well-being.

  @/ y" M4 _6 ?& ^6 d; |The position involves the following tasks: coordinate annual programs including Introduction to Bioethics courses, Annual Conference & AGM, Health Ethics Week, Ethics Representative Forum, Video Sharing Circle; Liaise with PHEN Members/Board, Council Members, Associates and contract personnel.

PLUS: coordinate PHEN's website & the sale, distribution/publicity of PHEN publications & resources; work with bookkeeper to coordinate accounts payable & receivable; respond to public inquiries + complete other administrative tasks as needed; coordinate & collaborate on other ongoing projects and programmes.

0 L+ K6 I' E6 d, C4 nEssential Qualifications: Bachelor or Masters level formal education in an area related to Health Ethics; experience with project coordination/administration; superb organizational & analytical skills; ability to write clearly/logically.

( n  P' [& m  hPLUS: familiarity with computers (preferably Macintosh), including general office software; ability to work well, independently & team environments; an eccentric sense of humour is preferred but not required.
