If the engine oil is frozen, what we can do? Can Block Heater works?

I think the engine oil in my car is frozen. I try to boost it with another car and it 's still not working.

我觉得block heater是管打火的，跟机油没关系。
/ _0 I( z8 e- L1 i# v我的车子前天早上打着火后，机油灯一直亮着。

there are a few kinds of BH that help cars start from extreme cold weather,
. Q, J# `  K; Hbasically ,  BH keep the car warm by heating up the oil pan-which keeps the engine oil from frozen, or by heating up the coolant, and keep the engine block warm.
0 Q8 i3 Q9 d/ b) B$ u  BEither way, the engine shall not be frozen with use of BH.

5 l8 c7 ]; A; _, l) {' p' KIf you do not have BH on ur car, by using synthetic oil you can also prevent oil frozen from happening.
+ x) N5 o% ]" ^2 JA good synthetic oil, 5w20 or 5w 30 , or 3w 20 has a pure point of -30 to -40 degrees.

Tow your car to somewhere warm and try to start after a while in warm place, or wait till the weather becomes warmer.

do you think using a hair dryer may help to warm up a car a little bit?

插电加热3小时，一般可以打着车。如果不行，可能电池电量不行了，应该用别的车BOOST。

. a! H! h+ Q* J! ?BLOCK HEATER是通过加热发动机内的冷却液间接加热ENGINE OIL，降低油的粘度；同时使汽油的可燃性提高。

3 C! z1 m, d% a& s( k8 u9 E不行用表量量BLOCK HEATER的电阻，应该是50欧姆左右。
