Immigrant Settlement Program (ISP) at ASSIST Community Services Centre is currently seeking flexible individuals to fill the following two positions:# B6 m3 w, C* g F/ u

Position Title: Outreach Worker (Full time: 35 hours per week)

Job Description/ p2 K# z, g2 x8 K5 v0 T! L* S
- promote ISP and other programs and services to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
7 o; g% T& Q( j* D( @; ]- contact with various media: i.e. newspaper, radio, website and newsletter etc. `9 l. Z! n& r3 M8 L+ \
- update and develop brochures, pamphlets, information packages and newsletter etc.1 m* l( t' c" C8 b- R: C
- promote, organize and coordinate activities for Newcomers Club as well as recruit and maintain new members for the Club. 9 a6 ^# i7 Z! w5 ~/ p) Z4 }
- ISP report writing, data collection, evaluations conduct and budget management.
) d C) W& m* d) y. F& Q, g* }- assist with volunteer recruitment and other business and services as needed and assigned.

Qualifications:
4 v- b7 B! M3 L( _) c- post-secondary degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline" B! u: R, x( \) g6 ^) U* Z
- relevant experience with community work
0 l& X8 J7 I$ v$ d- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

Position Title: Receptionist/Immigration Services Worker (Full time: 35 hours per week)
# D" M3 e* W! X# D, `( l& @前台/移民服務員/ e: I: w9 i- f, \! a# A1 @
Job Description
8 m1 R9 ?1 W5 ]# O/ Z- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.( a9 U7 |, n4 _/ N: ? D
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
3 R) S$ ]& u! p5 V! ~. y' i- report to the program manager and provide clerical support to all members of the ISP team6 \* P. N6 N% n& N
& Y8 A" T( c4 I
Qualifications:
, H: Y7 _* @, l) b+ o. n1 ~- post secondary diploma
; ]/ O8 I* Y0 M. G: c1 P- customer service and office clerical experiences
