There are two ESL Programs available at CCI-LEX and we offer continuous % B5 ?( G% O2 {: s7 c
enrolment and small class sizes.

& @: M7 D( r4 F+ @5 { TThe LEX Program is open to citizens and residents of Canada, and classes run O" e) U! P' u' A8 l
during the daytime (9-3) and in the evenings (6-8) from Monday to Thursday -
6 Q2 {! S7 R) cthere are no Friday classes. The cost for the daytime Program is $20.00 (4 6 @0 X( S% W% Y
weeks) and the evening classes are $10.00 (4 weeks). We offer 4 levels of
6 ~9 [0 i$ K1 w, Q' pEnglish as a Second Language study - Beginner (CLB levels 1/2), Intermediate 2 ?; I( S0 r0 G) T( ~# J/ O+ F, K& o
1 (CLB levels 3/4), Intermediate 2 (CLB levels 4/5) and Advanced (CLB levels * r$ e. Q1 }, S' m
6 and above), as well as a Literacy class for the absolute beginner
* W. x. l+ f, A' R(Pre-Benchmark CLB levels). The majority of these classes are led by
. p8 m5 A: j6 t$ iprofessional volunteer ESL instructors and the focus is on helping new adult

8 V4 D; a( j! }. z/ ?The CCI Program is open to citizens, residents & temporary Visa holders ( \/ y& j4 g7 ^. T
(student, work, visitor), and those classes run 9-12 and 1-4 from Monday , L. y# s) C: `7 O; T8 R' V
through Friday, with an average class price of $300.00 (4 weeks). These * \1 }+ k# x* f9 B& L
classes are led by professional contracted instructors and we offer a
# b8 V2 B3 e0 L. o7 k6 i5 hvariety of skill focused ESL classes in the mornings, followed by different , `; l4 z$ j4 b6 x$ K% y
developmental courses in the afternoon, such as Communication Skills and

In order to register, all potential students must take our placement test - % r! n8 N* `1 S8 _. X2 N9 @
no appointment necessary. Please, allow yourself at least one hour to 0 P& r& P' k( h
write the placement test and if possible, we will assess the results of your 8 }: S) }7 @) t8 o( e; S/ I6 N: u
test immediately and begin the registration process that same day. |
