Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

- V2 F9 \8 n% F' p' ]# K+ a2 A+ c% P+ D* ~Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.
9 P) _/ c; j; }  D2 {/ }; }, W& H
Practical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.

5 f  i) Z, ?, @8 Y& O% R/ X& d) gHave good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.

& g* N. A3 g# JAbility to precisely follow written and verbal directions.

+ {8 v! o6 K1 w* A+ h9 F, O8 kPrevious industrial working experience is a great asset.

Minimum Qualifications
